Code issues in User:A-wiki-guest-user/common.js edit

Hi A-wiki-guest-user, I am a bored bot (this is kind of a computer program) that is watching the recent changes and tapping buttons like I did now.

Curious about the reason? Possibly not but I will tell you anyway:

  1. You edited User:A-wiki-guest-user/common.js. Glad to see you coding in javascript! Have you ever considered becoming a MediaWiki hacker?
  2. Though, that change appears to introduce 1 new jshint issue — the page's status is now having warnings. Note that invalid or ambiguous code often has unwanted side effects like breaking other tools for you. If you cannot find out how to fix it, I suggest blanking the page for now.
  3. To help you understanding where the issues are, I have aggregated a report here and now. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask users experienced in javascript writing for help. But do not ask the bot's operators (chronically overwrought) unless you suspect an error of mine. If you prefer not getting spammed by me, you can opt-out reports by adding {{ValidationOptOut|type=all}} to your user page or cmb-opt-out anywhere on your your global user page on Meta. Good luck at Wikimedia Commons and happy hacking!
  1. ISSUE: line 17 character 91: Script URL. - Evidence: mw.util.addPortletLink('p-tb', 'javascript:importScript("MediaWiki:VisualFileChange.js");', 'Perform batch task', 't-AjaxQuickDeleteOnDemand');

Your votes in FPC edit

Hello, would you mind reworking all your votes in FPC and explaining why you vote against a picture? Oppose votes must be commented in order to help the author/nominator to understand where the problems are. Also some experience in photography is recommended to judge whether a picture belongs among the finest in our project. Poco2 08:47, 10 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

+2. --Wolfgang Moroder (talk) 11:09, 10 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
+3. Or at least experience in analyzing art. If you just agree with someone else's reason(s) for opposing, "per [name]" is sufficient, but just opposing a bunch of stuff without comment is not OK on FPC. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 11:17, 10 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
+4 Today your earliest oppose vote already got striked as you didn't give a reason. Please edit your votes and feel free to remove my remarks as they would look wrong afterwards. – LucasT 19:21, 11 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
Lucasbosch: we have 2 options: either we leave all votes the way they are or we strikethrough all of them, cherry picking is not an option. I don't know though whether we have got a case like this before. Poco2 16:40, 12 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
Poco, in my opinion we should give him time to add a reason until the voting period ends (or the bot has counted the votes). Only then would striking be necessary for the corrected tallying, as I've done here and A.Savin approved this. This nom is next. I've never intended to cherry pick at all, I just wanted to not make harsh edits (striking) too quickly to make the appearance his votes are denied entirely. He's a new user and doesn't log in that often it seems. – LucasT 18:39, 12 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
Ok, Lucasbosch, sounds like a strategy, fine to me. Poco2 18:58, 12 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
Tomer T, you just did a FPC closing review with one of these invalid oppose votes, please strike such votes in the future and adjust the tally, which I already did for you here. Thanks! – LucasT 22:12, 12 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

File:Try to Unrolled.jpg identification edit

Hi. I've never been to Sri Lanka, so definitely no expert, but have been asked by Yann to look at the id. To me, it certainly looks like a juvenile Calotes calotes. Can you suggest an alternative species please? BTW, Yann, not sharp enough for FP! Charles (talk) 09:21, 31 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
