Goodies, tips, and tricks Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities. You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads. Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Hallo Andreas, Besitz interressiert in diesem Zusammenhang nicht, weil das Urheberrecht in der Regel nicht an den Besitz oder das Eigentum an einer Sache geknüpft ist. Hier geht es um den Fotografen, der wohl unbekannt ist, aber hinreichend lange tot sein dürfte, so dass das Urheberrecht als erloschen angenommen werden kann (70 volle Jahre nach dem Tod des "Autoren" = Urhebers = Fotografen). Habe deswegen {{PD-old-70-expired}} eingetragen. Gruß, Achim (talk) 18:36, 22 October 2021 (UTC)

Danke für den Hinweis - habe die Datei entsprechend mit PD-self gekennzeichnet, denn es ist ja das Logo des Verlags. Es tut mir Leid, dass ich das vergessen habe - die Handhabung ist, wenn man nur alle paar Monate etwas ergänzt, nicht so gewohnt. AHagenkord (talk) 15:06, 28 July 2022 (UTC)

SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics)

Please use SVG Thank you for uploading some images! Did you know that Wikimedia Commons recommends the SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) format for certain types of images? Scalable Vector Graphics are designed to look appropriate at any scale, and SVG images are easier to modify and translate, helping Wikimedia to distribute knowledge to all of the world. A lot of modern programs support SVG export. If you encountered problems or have questions, don't hesitate to ask me, a member of the Graphic Lab, or the Graphics village pump. Uploading images in SVG format isn't mandatory, but it would help. (To avoid any misunderstandings, please don't just put raster images into an SVG container as embedded raster.)
