Goodies, tips, and tricks Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities. You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads. Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Er staat een copyright notice van de oorspronkelijke fotograaf in, het kan dus sowieso geen "eigen werk" zijn zoals er nu staat. Origineel staat op http://www.gerdienwolthauspaauw.com/125193108/portret-arnoud-jan-bijsterveld Spraakverwarring (talk) 13:50, 20 July 2014 (UTC)

Dit alles wil niet zeggen dat de fotograaf geen toestemming heeft gegeven. Dit lijkt mij dan ook allerminst reden voor directe verwijdering. Woodcutterty (talk) 13:53, 20 July 2014 (UTC)

Uitgangspunt is toch dat uitdrukkelijk moet blijken dat de fotograaf wèl toestemming heeft gegeven? Daarvan is nu nog niets aangedragen. Uploader claimt dat het "eigen werk" is, terwijl in de exif-info duidelijk iemand anders staat en ook nergens blijkt dat de afbeelding onder een voor Commons geldige licentie is vrijgegeven. Het komt vaker voor dat iemand "eigen werk" invult bij de bron waar dit niet het geval is. Dat lijkt eerder aan te tonen dat voor veel mensen niet duidelijk is wat daar precies moet worden ingevuld. Ik acht het ook niet heel aannemelijk dat deze meneer opzettelijk auteursrechten zou schenden. Uitgaande van goede wil is vragen om alsnog bewijs van de toestemming te geven dan beter op z'n plaats (verwijdering kan na zeven dagen alsnog als dat niet gegeven wordt). Ik heb de invulling van de parameters overigens reeds gecorrigeerd. Woodcutterty (talk) 14:03, 20 July 2014 (UTC)

Graag stuur ik je bijgaand je portret toe, ik hoop ook naar jouw tevredenheid.

Je kunt dit portret vrij gebruiken, wel is naamsvermelding van toepassing. En graag in z'n geheel gebruiken, omdat de achtergrond zo'n wezenlijke rol speelt in de compositie.

Beste heer Bijsterveld, dank voor uw reactie! Ik ben bang dat dit toch niet helemaal compatibel is met de voorwaarden van Wikimedia Commons, die schrijven namelijk voor dat van het werk ook afgeleide werken gemaakt moeten kunnen worden. Kunt u de fotograaf vragen of ze expliciet accoord kan gaan met vrijgave onder Creative Commons/Naamsvermelding/Gelijk delen (CC-BY-SA) licentie? Zie ook Commons:Licensing voor meer informatie.    Ik heb de maker zoals gezegd een mail gestuurd met de volgende inhoud. Wat kan ik meer doen??????

"graag wil ik je een gunst vragen. Ik wil graag je portret van mij plaatsen bij mijn wikipedia-pagina maar loop nu tegen copyrightbepalingen aan omdat je de foto ook op je eigen site hebt staan. Ik heb de lage-resolutie geupload maar krijg nu een mededeling dat ik daarmee inbreuk maak op jouw copyright. Destijds heb je me laten weten dat ik het portret, mits naamsvermelding, mag gebruiken. Als de maker die mail stuurt zou het goed moeten komen, meneer Bijsterveld. Zodra de toestemming ontvangen is zal een medewerker van het OTRS-team (waar de mail naartoe wordt gestuurd) alles in orde maken. Mocht dit niet binnen zeven dagen gebeuren, dan kan de foto worden verwijderd, maar zal die zodra de toestemming alsnog ontvangen en verwerkt is door een moderator worden teruggeplaatst (upload in dat geval dus geen nieuwe versie!).
