There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful informations about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.

Hello, Abubiju!

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.

Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically sighted. This will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to help users watching Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones. Thank you. Jordanian stampsEdit

Obviously you did not design, but only scanned or photographed, the Jordanian stamps you uploaded: File:Briefmarke mit Abdallah II. 1961.jpg and File:Briefmarke mit Hussein von Jordanien 1961.jpg. They were copyright to the Jordanian postal administration, so you cannot provide them with a free license. I'm not exactly sure about Jordanian copyright but if they are now out of copyright, being mare than 50 years old, then probably PD-Jordan applies, certainly not the Creative Commons copyright tag you added. So do you agree with me? Ww2censor (talk) 10:24, 13 August 2017 (UTC)

Yes, I agree. I just uploaded the stamps without thinking of the license. In fact, the matter of licenses is not my favorite subject. I followed your proposal for PD-Jordan, since I don't know it better. --Abubiju (talk) 21:45, 13 August 2017 (UTC)

@ Turelio: meine Antwort steht hier. (Gibt es in Commons keinen Ping?) --Abubiju (talk) 21:19, 27 August 2017 (UTC)

--Abubiju (talk) 13:42, 27 August 2017 (UTC)
Vielleicht mal hier versuchen: Commons:OTRS/Noticeboard. --Túrelio (talk) 15:01, 27 August 2017 (UTC)
Hier beantragt: OTRS/Noticeboard#Bitte_OTRS-Label_2006052910008436_erg.C3.A4nzen. Vielen Dank für den Tipp! --Abubiju (talk) 16:41, 27 August 2017 (UTC)
