Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2022 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the seventeenth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2022) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topical categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you may vote for as many images as you like. The top 30 overall and the two most popular images in each category will continue to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just three images to become the Picture of the Year.

Round 1 will end on 1 May 2023, 23:59:59 UTC.

Однако у меня есть большая просьба - помочь с опознанием участников встречи олимпийцев на встрече с Владимиром Путиным 6 марта 2006 года, а также встречу Минтимера Шаймиева с татарстанскими участниками Пекинской Олимпиады. На общих фото с Путиным и Шаймиевым имена спортсменов были добавлены не только в категориях, но также в примечаниях при наведении курсора на фото, чтобы было легче идентифицировать конкретного спортсмена. Надеюсь на то, что новогодние каникулы Вы проведёте с большой пользой и зарядом отличного настроения на целый год Хочу сказать, что я в настоящее время загрузил ещё 29 фотографий встречи Шаймиева со спортсменами 29 августа 2008 года, причём здесь высококачественные портреты спортсменов, необходимых для статей Википедии - размер портрета 2064x3164 пикселей.

  В обозримом будущем также планируйте заливку фотографий Летней Универсиады 2013 года, поскольку официальные сайты Татарстана полностью свободные с 2018 года благодаря Фархаду Фаткуллину (Frndkazan), признанного в том же году Викимедийцем года и ставшим первым российским участником Википедии с данным званием (после письма Вячеслава Кириллина данное разрешение на действует на старый сайт Госсовета и персональный сайт его председателя Фарида Мухаметшина). Это будет крайне важным в том числе и для статей о иностранных спортсменах, о которых нет статей в русской Википедии. Так например, я залил фотографии церемонии закрытия в высоком разрешении, чего нету на президентском сайте.

  И ещё у меня к Вам ещё в августа остался запрос на разбор персоналий в вышеуказанных категориях Викисклада, поскольку я ухожу на новогодние каникулы после длительной экзопедической работы. Так например, к ним относятся категории с сайтов Госдумы, Президента России.

  Хочу напомнить также, что ровно четыре года назад на сайте Кремля появился раздел Путин. 20 лет, в котором отображены важные вехи премьерства и президентства Владимира Путина в 1999-2019 годах. Всего здесь свыше 3500 фотографий и 300 видеозаписей в высоком разрешении, что крайне важно учитывать при том, если же имеется оригинал с основного домена в низком разрешении. Также необходимо быть внимательным при проверке лицензии файла - если файл опубликован до 8 апреля 2015 года и имеет дубликат на основном домене kremlin.ru или putin.kremlin.ru, то здесь указываются две лицензии - CC BY 3.0 и 4.0, как на фотографии встречи Путина с участниками Туринской Олимпиады 6 марта 2006 года. В остальных случаях, когда файл публикуется впервые или опубликован после 8 апреля 2015 года вне зависимости от наличия дубликата на основном домене, то здесь применяется только CC BY 4.0.   Новые фотографии спортсменов со встречи с Шаймиевым постараюсь 1 числа разобрать. Такие замечательные портреты особенно хорошо смотрелись бы в хороших да избранных статьях!

  По поводу персоналий Первого канала в запросе от августа — больше никого не смогу распознать. Что получилось, то получилось.

  Благодарю за подробное разъяснение по лицензиям. Пока это не актуально, уже давно ничего не загружаю с kremlin.ru. Но в будущем ваша информация пригодиться 100%. Спасибо!

  @Benezius Что же касаемо акций Первого канала, в них участвуют не только его ведущие, но и спортсмены, звёзды эстрады и шоу-бизнеса. Так что файлы пока в резерве. Но упор должен делаться на фотографии высокого разрешения, кои сейчас отсутствуют, к примеру, у Романа Костомарова, за судьбу которого в уходящем году следила вся Россия.

  Кроме того, я активно работал над персоналиями-лауреатами наград Татарстана, у которых нет свободных изображений на Викискладе. Среди них могут оказаться и спортсмены. Вот он:

Также вдобавок празднование победы заявки после конгресса FISU в Брюсселе 31 мая 2008 года, где фотографии имеют примерно такую же значимость, что и сессия МОК в Гватемеле 4-5 июля 2007 года с участием президента России Владимира Путина, где Сочи получил право на проведение Зимних Игр 2014 года. • @MasterRus21thCentury, обратите внимание, что у многих фотографий различаются даты: в кратком описании под фото одна дата, в категории внизу — другая. Как понимаю, то в кратком описании стоит правильная. Надо у категорий годы подкорректировать. Benezius (talk) 09:20, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
