You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Modelli

Ciao, ho creato un po' di struttura per caricare documenti in Commons. Può già essere usata, però qualche miglioramento non guasterebbe e dipende da te.

• Category:BEIC conterrà il tutto: è a posto.
• Template:BEIC è forse il principale, non indica la licenza ma la fonte.
  • Come ci siamo detti, serve che tu decida che URL mettere e se ci sono degli identificativi canonici. Questo è indispensabile e la decisione andrà documentata in Template:BEIC/doc. I punti successivi sono abbellimenti.

• • Qui di solito si mette un logo, ma deve essere nel pubblico dominio o sotto licenza libera (che non c'entra col fatto che sia un marchio registrato).
• Institution:BEIC è per qualunque opera collegata a BEIC: servirebbe qualche ID nel campo "authority control", ma non ho trovato BEIC in OCLC né niente. Con una foto sarebbe anche piú carino, vedi ad esempio Institution:Houghton Library. Puoi modificare/espandere a volontà.

Ho caricato un esempio giusto per vedere come viene: File:Dei delitti e delle pene, edizione VI, frontespizio.jpg.

Ciao Chiara, vedo che non hai ancora caricato la presentazione; puoi partire da Special:UploadWizard. Come categorie puoi mettere "GLAM presentations" e "Media from BEIC". Caricamento immagini ingegneria idraulica

Ciao Chiara, ora ho aggiunto al template {{BEIC}} la categoria automatica (fissa) Category:Hydraulics collection from BEIC per la collezione di ingegneria idraulica. Suggerisco comunque di aggiungere alle immagini che caricherai la categoria generale "Hydraulic engineering" (che poi potrà essere cambiata dagli altri utenti con una più specifica) e se possibile l'anno (es. "1792 maps" o "1792 drawings" o "1792 books" a seconda del soggetto). Per lo scontorno di alcune tavole ho usato direttamente lo strumento di crop di Commons (che si può attivare dalle proprie preferenze utente), è facile e veloce (vedi se il risultato ti soddisfa); lo stesso strumento può essere utilizzato per creare in pochi secondi delle nuove immagini di dettagli a partire dalle immagini esistenti. --Marco Chemello (BEIC) (talk) 06:50, 6 October 2016 (UTC)

Ciao Marco, ok per le indicazioni. Per lo scontornamento delle immagini sono sempre un pò diffidente poichè alterano la visione dell'originale e quindi l'ho applicata solo in casi veramente evidenti, ma questa è una deformazione mia per cui cercherò di farlo al meglio, tu magari butta sempre un'occhio e sentiti libero di intervenire. Logo BEIC

Riciao, sto cercando di modificare il template {{BEIC}} in modo che mostri un'immagine diversa in base alla collezione (in modo da non visualizzare sempre il ritratto di Monti). Ti chiederei se puoi caricare per cortesia il logo BEIC (pure piccolo), che è utile anche per la pagina Institution:BEIC e le voci sulla biblioteca.
