Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Commons is not for Wikipedia articles

Hello! I noticed that you tried to create a Wikipedia article on Commons. Please note that Commons is not Wikipedia, and does not host encyclopedia content - Commons only hosts media (photographs, videos, etc).

To create a Wikipedia article, please go to Wikipedia's article wizard. You might also find Wikipedia's new contributors' help page useful.

Both the file JdeQuiros.jpg and Portada-Q.jpg may be used in the Wikipedia. The first one has been scanned from a copy of a book printed in 1552, and the second one is the cover of a book used in internet to promote the book. I think that the article is now located in the Wikipedia in Spanish, not in Commons.
