wall paintings in church edit

Hi Didivo67, from its outer appearance the church in Helmlingen seems to be not so old. So, it can be assumed that the artwork is still in copyright. Regrettably, there is no free-of-panorama exception for indoor works in Germany. Therefore, a permission by the artist is needed for File:Helmlingen evangelische kirche1.jpg, File:Helmlingen evangelische kirche2.jpg and File:Helmlingen evangelische kirche3.jpg. --Túrelio (talk) 07:35, 9 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

File:Urmatt lavoir rue du général De Gaulle7.jpg edit

Hi Didivo6, do you know who created these murals? You are surely aware that unfortunately there is no freedom-of-panorama exception in France. So, we need to be sure, the murals are no longer copyrighted, which requires that the painter is dead since >70 years. --Túrelio (talk) 09:29, 18 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi Turelio
Ok you can delete them Didivo67 (talk) 09:39, 18 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello Didivo67, What is the point of putting categories (here) and then removing them again? Greeting   Antoine.01 overleg(Antoine) 15:34, 23 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello Antoine
I know that my method to create a new category (with Hot Cat) generates duplicates that I have to delete afterwards! However it is simple and fast!
If you have a link to a help that avoids creating this duplicate and easy to use, I'm interested!
Have a nice day Didivo67 (talk) 15:02, 24 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hello Didivo67, I don't have that, I do it the easy way without tools! Greeting   Antoine.01 overleg(Antoine) 23:09, 25 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading File:Wittersheim portail rue neuve9.jpg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.

If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.)

If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there.

Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you.

Why add a category and then delete it again? edit

Hi Didivo67, Why do you still add category and then remove it again like (here), (hier), (hier) and so on!?   Antoine.01 overleg(Antoine) 12:22, 18 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello Antoine01, I think I found a way to do it without creating duplicates that I had to delete afterwards.
Have a nice day. Didivo67 (talk) 14:33, 18 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hi Didivo67, Okay, because this is not the way to do that! Greeting   Antoine.01 overleg(Antoine) 14:25, 19 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Un utilisateur du Bas-Rhin ?! edit

Bonjour @Didivo67 !

How to ask for speedy-delete of an empty category edit

When you want to ask for speedy-delete of an empty category, best practice is to mark it with {{SD|C2}} if it would be OK to re-create it in the future, given that appropriate content becomes available or {{SD|C1}} if it is an inappropriate category name that should not be reused. In particular, this is better practice than just blanking the category page, as you did at Category:Ironing shops in France. ("C1" and "C2" come from Commons:Criteria for speedy deletion).
