This file may be deleted.
A file that you have uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, File:Tabrez Ansari.jpg, is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such works would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a map that has been altered from the original. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.

Please edit the file description and add the missing information, or the file may be deleted. If you created the original content yourself, enter this information as the source. If someone else created the content, the source should be the address to the web page where you found it, the name and ISBN of the book you scanned it from, or similar. You should also name the author, provide verifiable information to show that the content is in the public domain or has been published under a free license by its author, and add an appropriate template identifying the public domain or licensing status, if you have not already done so. Please add the required information for this and other files you have uploaded before adding more files. If you need assistance, please ask at the help desk. Thank you!

Source is me. The image is in public source and was somewhat cruel as a man was getting beaten so edited it somewhat and cropped it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Edward Zigma (talk • contribs) 04:52, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Patrick Rogel: the original image is in public domain and used by various media houses. The original image is take from the video which got viral when tabreZ was lynched. Edward Zigma (talk) 06:56, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Source is not you since you claimed it comes from a video. You should upload this video first or link to it so we can verify if it's public domain or not. --Patrick Rogel (talk) 10:09, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
Link to the particular video[1]. This video is in public domain. Various media houses used it for reporting.[2][3][4]. So the original image already in the domain,Edited for the purpose to make it good. And less gory. Next I want to point out that the userHarshil169 who put my image under deletion did it with bad intention. Already a dispute is going on between him and me On Adminstrators noticeboard.[5]. He is already blocked from main wikipedia for 1 week. Here[6]. But I have provided the links to the video first so as to prove its in public domain with no copyright claim coz that's what that matters at the end. But the intention of putting my imahe under deletion is not with good intention and definately not in good faith with wikipedia editorship. Thank you.Edward Zigma (talk) 10:27, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
No this video is not under a Creative Commons license. Besides it's far too recent (2019) to be public domain: copyright lasts 70 years in India. --Patrick Rogel (talk) 11:30, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
No wait. That video was edit. Let me give link to another one. The one which is public domain.See this video[7]. This was viral video and shared on public platform. I can give you many links to tweet where this video was viral. There is no particular to this video and this video(which I has shared now) used by many media houses ,about which I have already provided the link.@Patrick Rogel: . There is no copyright claim to the video so to the image. And rest is your decision. Thank you. Edward Zigma (talk) 11:36, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
Your image is a derivative work of a copyrighted video, not a free one. The fact that it's available on the Internet and that there's no copyright claim to the video doesn't mean it's free. Please re-read "First steps tutorial" at the top of this page before uploading more files. --Patrick Rogel (talk) 16:11, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
Did you checked the second message that I had sent you.@Patrick Rogel: .Edward Zigma (talk) 15:59, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
No matter how you’ll attack me and allege me for this. I’m not going to loose my cool in anyway. You are attacking me, no problem, but just read COPYRIGHT policy of commons. I never nominated your second image for deletion because it was your work. Your first image was someone’s work and that’s why admin has deleted it. You have to prove to admin that how this was your work. Please do that. Read en:WP:AGF and en:WP:NPA fully, you’re not making your case stronger.
