Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Coat of arms of Loris Capovilla

I believe that the Coat of arms of Loris Capovilla you drew is not correct. Have a look here, there's written that the actual coat of arms of the titular archbishop is the same used as bishop of Chieti, so oval and without the symbol of Venice and the flower. Hola Ivan!

Esta es la versión oficial del escudo del cardenal Martini [4],[5], aunque es una imagen pequeña se logra ver que no tiene frutos rojos, lamentablemente no se logra distinguir que tipo de árbol es. Tus escudos tienen una área en blanco en la parte superior e inferior, esa área sobra, lo mejor es que la elimines. Saludos --SajoR (talk) 08:51, 15 January 2014 (UTC)

Hola Ivan. Esta es la nueva versión del escudo del Mons. Jorge Alberto Cavazos Arizpe, nuevo obispo de San Luis Potosí. Cambiaron varios elementos, la Virgen de San Juan cambio al lado superior izquierdo, el barco al lado derecho y abajo puso la flor de Liz en un fondo azul. Además el Cristo se sustituyó.
