Commons:Geocoding

Hello MaryannaNesina, at the Geocoding project we have noticed that you uploaded a number of pictures from one of the less covered regions on earth. Maybe you could consider adding coordinates to some of your images. They will show up on the WikiMiniAtlas and the Google Earth Commons-layer. Как это ни странно звучит, над городом на Неве надо работать и работать. А ведь он того заслуживает! Сравните, например, с Минском, Таллином, Львовом... Кстати, другие места в России, также не страдают от избытка внимания :-(

Я бы взялся сам, но был там только два раза, и город скорее не знаю, чем знаю :-(

Лучше всего искать точку, с которой был сделан снимок (так же, если бы у фотографа был GPS). Можно ещё указывать направление камеры, но это уже высший пилотаж :-), я так не умею :-( --EugeneZelenko 15:45, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

А если я буду с другого берега реки телевиком при сильном увеличении снимать объект? :) (Я, к сожалению, выкладываю фото совсем не в день съемки, а чаще всего много позже и точки съемки могу определить только весьма условно) --MaryannaNesina 11:08, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

Лермонтовский проспект

Марьяна, почему вы добавляете в Category:Lermontovski Prospekt Image:Saint Isidor's Church and Mogilyovsky Bridge (Saint Petersburg).jpg, хотя туда и так добавлена Category:Saint Isidor's Church (Saint Petersburg)? бр-р-р Category:Lermontovski Prospekt я сделала 19-ого и добавила туда картинку (действительно неправильно, т.к. надо было добавлять в Category:Saint Isidor's Church (Saint Petersburg)), но в Category:Saint Isidor's Church (Saint Petersburg) Вы ссылку добавили вроде бы только сегодня? В общем, это все не важно - с картинки категорию убрала, теперь вроде бы все правильно :) --MaryannaNesina 08:36, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

Так и было. Я увидел, что вы добавили эту картинку в категорию, поэтому и перенёс ссылку на категорию. Через полчаса гляжу — вы опять картинку в категорию пихнули, вот и решил написать. ;-) Ещё я добавил в Category:Lermontovski Prospekt Могилёвский и Египетский мосты. The site spefically indicates the owner of the copyright. Copyright ©. George Mitrevski. Auburn University. e-mail:mitrege@auburn.edu I used this e-mail to request the authorization. This is a respected University, not some kind of unknown entity and there is no doubt that they know what copyright is. I see not to beleave the information.

The site presents only the uploaded picture so there cannot be any confusion about what the copyright refers to.
