Hello, Orbitale~commonswiki!

Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.

If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.

The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. Bonjour,

Hello, image you uploaded is posted long ago at http://www.metrodemontreal.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10296 by Jean-Marie Hachey. Is this you? Can you please post from the same account somewhere on metrodemontreal.com forum to proof identity? Thank you
No, I'm not Jean-Marie Hachey. This person probably get my image to publish it in this forum. Why do you think that this map is his creation? Sorry if I cannot clearly explain, my first langage is french.--Orbitale (talk) 23:02, 2 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
Can you please point to your post where Jean-Marie Hachey could take your image, because now I seems that he is the author --Justass (talk) 23:23, 2 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
I upload the map on ImageShack. It is a online media hosting (hébergeur). Images on this kind of server are accessible via search engines as Google. I suppose this guy found it. --Orbitale (talk) 01:05, 3 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
Sorry but your proofs of authorship is inconclusive, place point to the post/webpage where you linked to this map previously then Jean-Marie Hachey --Justass (talk) 06:53, 3 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
Very bad. --Orbitale (talk) 15:12, 3 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Recadrage edit

Salut,

Tu as simplement à télécharger l'image. Faire ton recadrage. — Riba (talk) 23:54, 24 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
J'ai fait la correction. — Riba (talk) 01:12, 27 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

File:Lacite-limoilou.jpg edit

Bonjour,

-- Asclepias (talk) 04:10, 2 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
