Files you uploaded may be deleted
editThe files listed below, which you uploaded, have been tagged {{OTRS pending}} for more than 30 days. This tag indicates that an email setting out permission to use the file was sent to the OTRS team. Unfortunately, we cannot find any record that such an email has been received, and accordingly the file remains without permission. Unless the OTRS team receives evidence that permission has been granted within 15 days of today's date, the file will be deleted. If you have not sent the permission, please send it to "permissions-commons wikimedia.org" now. Please quote the file name in your email. If you have, please leave a message at the OTRS noticeboard, quoting the file name, so that a volunteer can follow this up. Alternatively, you can contact an OTRS volunteer directly. Please note that this message is being left by an automated bot, whose operator is not an OTRS volunteer, therefore please do not send this information to me, as it will not save your images from deletion. Thanks for your time! Please help translate this message! HersfoldOTRSBot(talk/opt out) 04:57, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
Portugal
editHi, I have corrected the map yet. About the portuguese language, if you talk to me in portuguese, I understand it perfectly. But if I try to write to you in portuguese, I probably will make some mistakes. Because of there isn't any template to indicate this, I have the advanced-level template in my profile. - Sammy pompon - Speak now, or shut up for ever 19:33, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
Forms of government
editHi, the file Forms_of_government.svg shows colored countries indicating the form of government. Iran is blue, means Iran is a presidential republic. This is misleading. Iran is not a presidential system. The Iranian president is kind of a prime minister. Head of state is the Supreme Leader of Iran--Wvk (talk) 09:30, 16 August 2015 (UTC)
Paul Murphy 2013.jpg
editHi. You recently changed File:Paul Murphy 2013.jpg to restore the original uncropped version of the file. The file was uploaded by me in February last year, and I uploaded the cropped version one minute later, to improve the quality. If you really feel it necessary to have a separate photo in order to include the plastic bottle, the correct thing to do would have been to re-upload the original file from its source as a separate file, or some other method that does not disturb the uploaded version, as there could well be links to that version from outside Wikipedia/Commons. See the guidelines at Commons:Overwriting existing files. I therefore propose to restore the cropped version. Thanks. — Rwxrwxrwx (talk) 14:28, 3 November 2017 (UTC)
- @Rwxrwxrwx: Good afternoon, I would like to tell you that I have already uploaded your cropped version into a separate file and gave attribution to you. Thank you for your message. --B.Lameira (talk) 14:38, 3 November 2017 (UTC)
- Hi. Attribution is not the issue. The issue is that you overwrote the original file, in contravention of the official guidelines mentioned. Please read the guidelines. I propose the restore the original file to its upload version. Thanks. — Rwxrwxrwx (talk) 14:43, 3 November 2017 (UTC)
- I did not overwrite the original file. You uploaded the cropped version, overwriting the original file and not the other way around. The original file is the current version. You should have proposed it for deletion if it bothered you, back then. --B.Lameira (talk) 14:46, 3 November 2017 (UTC)
- No, you misunderstand the guidelines. It is perfectly acceptable for the original uploader to overwrite with a cropped version shortly after the original upload, but it is not acceptable to overwrite it 18 months later. This is made perfectly clear in the summary box at the start of Commons:Overwriting existing files. Thanks. — Rwxrwxrwx (talk) 14:51, 3 November 2017 (UTC)
- Okay, let's restore your cropped version and I will upload a new enlarged image. Does it seem acceptable to you? --B.Lameira (talk) 15:08, 3 November 2017 (UTC)
- And also renaming the file as well. --B.Lameira (talk) 15:13, 3 November 2017 (UTC)
- Restoring the file is fine, but I see no need to rename the original file. Thanks. — Rwxrwxrwx (talk) 15:15, 3 November 2017 (UTC)
- Done. --B.Lameira (talk) 15:22, 3 November 2017 (UTC)

File:Form of government parliamentary.png requires updating
editHi B.Lameira,
Thank you for your contributions to Commons. I noticed File:Form of government parliamentary.png is out of date. Turkey is a presidential republic since 9 July 2018. Could you update it? Thanks again. Ullierlich (talk) 09:59, 4 February 2019 (UTC)
