Opinion polling UK next election edit

Hi Absolutelypuremilk, in relation to File:Opinion polling UK 2020 election short axis.png, would you mind put the html colour 0064BA representing the Conservatives' line, instead of the present colour? I think is more accurate to the campaign colour.--Frodar (talk) 16:10, 27 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

I'm doing the colours on a Mac rather than using HTML, would you like it brighter or darker? Absolutelypuremilk (talk) 16:59, 27 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
This is the colour I mean: [1]--Frodar (talk) 19:16, 27 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the colour change! --Frodar (talk) 21:53, 30 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Point size on graph edit

Hi. I was wondering if you might the line/data point size a little smaller on your graph, as it's rather hard to interpret clearly, especially for small changes in the last few weeks.--scrasun — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 131.111.5.182 (talk) 16:54, 1 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Good suggestion, I'll have a play around with it. Including a smaller graph of polls since the election has also been suggested to improve this, maybe you could give your opinion at Talk:Opinion polling for the United Kingdom general election, 2017#Shorter period graph. Marking date that GE was called on "File:Opinion polling UK 2020 election short axis.png" edit

Hi, Absolutelypuremilk! I'm wondering if it's worth marking the date that the GE was called on the graph you've so wonderfully produced? That may help readers see polling trends since the announcement. Thank you for your great work! — Sasuke Sarutobi (talk) 09:41, 1 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much for the quick response! Looks great! — Sasuke Sarutobi (talk) 14:14, 1 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Adding vertical axis for every day on "File:Recent polling for the 2017 UK General Election.png" edit

I love the work you have done for opinion polls for the UK 217 GE, would it be possible for you to add the vertical axis for every day to make it clearer when a day has passed. Also could you change the blue colour to be the same as that in "File:Opinion polling UK 2020 election short axis.png"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Le Partisan (talk • contribs) 15:42, 3 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Polling color indication information edit

An explanation of colors at the file "Opinion Polling UK 2020 Election" is desirable, so that articles that make of the file can (at the editors' discretion) explain what party each color corresponds to.

Opinion polling for the next United Kingdom general election edit

Hi, I just made a couple of corrections to the polls in the table. Perhaps you could update your lovely graph with them.

Thanks for updating them, I can do that tomorrow - remind me if I haven't by the end of tomorrow! Absolutelypuremilk (talk) 13:33, 9 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Entry rat ratio! edit

Hi APM, I think your graph is really useful here (File:Entry ratio.png) but I was wondering if I could invite you to fix the title at the side - you'll see the typo. Only if you have time. Wikidea (talk) 14:37, 25 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Voting intention graph edit

Hi! I was just wondering how you made the moving line average graph for the next UK general election opinion polling page, as I want to create a similar graph for opinion polls in the pakistani general election as well. Best Masterpha (talk) 09:04, 10 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I did it with a spreadsheet. The points are made up of the individual polls, while the line is made up of the moving average (the last ten polls for that party). I've added a screenshot of my method

File:Opinion polling for the 2022 UK general election.png edit

Hi, can you check the averages? The LibDems haven't polled over 10% so I don't know why the trend line flicks up - maybe the denominator is wrong somewhere. 185.25.56.82 21:43, 22 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for spotting this, FriendlyDataNerdV2 noticed that there was an error in the Lib Dem percentage which I had included and mentioned this on my talk page. I have now corrected the error. Absolutelypuremilk (talk) 13:09, 23 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

File:Uk2022polling15average.png edit

Hi! Which online graphics creater did you use to create the File:Uk2022polling15average.png?

Kind regards Lefcentreright (talk) 14:40, 9 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

I just used Excel to create this graph - the lines represent the average of the last fifteen polls. I did this by creating a new column called "Conservative average" etc., which was populated with the average of the last 15 polls (or however many there had been up to that point if there hadn't yet been 15). It was a bit of a hassle but took about five minutes to do. Hope that helps! Absolutelypuremilk (talk) 17:07, 9 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

How often will the uk general election polling graph be updated Bush1234 (talk) 21:39, 27 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

I try and update it every few days - I have been away recently but will get back on it soon. Absolutelypuremilk (talk) 21:55, 27 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
Please update it to include brexit and change uk per concensus in discussion page. If n/a is written do not use figure to calculate graph. thank you.--Misconceptions2 (talk) 16:50, 21 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Replacement of your graph in w:Opinion polling for the next United Kingdom general election edit

Hello, I rather like the graph you made that was, until early this morning, used in the w:Opinion polling for the next United Kingdom general election article, until it was replaced by Mélencron. There are several reasons why I prefer your graph (and the previous table layout, but that's another issue) but I am interested to know if you think the new graph is an improvement over your version. I obviously wouldn't want to change it back to your version if you actually prefer the new graph and/or didn't want to keep updating your version (I'm grateful btw for how you've kept it up-to-date recently to reflect the rather dramatic shifts in recent polling). Thanks. —Paul1337 (talk) 12:45, 22 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Opinion polling for the next Dutch general election edit

Hi @Bellowhead678: I saw that you produced an excellent-looking graph of opinion polling for the upcoming UK general election, and I was wondering if you'd be willing to do the same for the next Dutch general election (or if you know of someone who can), as the current file is no longer being updated since the user who maintained it retired from editing. Thanks! HapHaxion (talk / contribs) 05:07, 6 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
