I can accept blurry. I don't see this picture as sufficiently blurry not to be valuable, but I can certainly see a less blurry one would be better. Die Daten in der Bildbeschreibung zeigen für das Jahr einen Wert von 1039 an. Laut en:List of motor vehicle deaths in U.S. by year war der Wert aber 10390. Outdoor fireplaces

@Jmabel: They are transportable fireplaces and no permanent structures. I've thought, that they would be misplaced in the category, but I generally had difficulties defining it.

• Good question. The most common terms I can think of are "fire pit" (not necessarily complete constructionless, because it can be lined, but it can just be a dirt pit or "fire site" or "campfire site" (where there isn't even necessarily a pit). But the chimenea (Spanish-language term) would definitely be an "outdoor fireplace". For what it's worth, there may be some regional differences, but I'm originally from New York, my girlfriend is from California; I showed her the picture without preamble, asked what she'd call it, and she said "portable outdoor fireplace." Maybe that should be a subcat? But it's still an outdoor fireplace. - Jmabel ! talk 20:41, 30 October 2016 (UTC)

I am unable to translate Eisenschwamm in two different manners. The german wiki seems to aggregate the DRI or Direct Reduced Iron, with the Luppe. The discussion page of Eisenschwamm seems to point out some problems.

Of course, it is not a mistake to aggregate these two concepts. But Luppe is produced in a Rennofen, DRI is made in modern processes, like Midrex. And there are many way to sell the DRI : in powder (raw DRI), hot-briquetted (HBI) or in reduced stones of ore (sponge iron).

Are you able to give 2 differents german words, one for Sponge iron and the other one for the Direct Reduced Iron ? Borvan53 (talk) 22:26, 4 November 2016 (UTC)

sadly Panoramio is now gone, but apparently your bot has still a backlog of files to import. On the other hand it would be a great chance to begin categorizing the 400.731 mostly uncategorized files. The backlog of files from Panoramio about 260M, see toollabs:pub. @Shizhao: I've moved discussion here. Are you sure to upload 2,8 million photos? I've discovered several times useful pictures from mass imports, so I'm no a general critic, but do you acknowledge the problem, that bots (e.g. Flickr import, Open Access media importer) tend to fill – and overflow – meta categories? Many categories went useless due to bot flooding.

Hallo Kopiersperre,

die Grafik ist etwas gealtert und mittlerweile gibt es auch Änderungen in den Aufenthaltstiteln, so dass es Abschiebeverbote und subsidiär Schutzberechtigte gibt. Mir erscheint nicht nur deshalb die Verbindung Asylantrag-Abschiebung fragwürdig (geworden) zu sein, sondern sie transportiert auch unterschwellig die Botschaft Asylbewerber müsste man grundsätzlich zu einem konstanten oder progressiv wachsenden Prozentsatz abschieben. Ich hielte es für angebrachter und wahrscheinlich auch besser verwendbar, Ausweisungen, Abschiebungen und "freiwillige Ausreisen" (nach Abschiebungsverfügung) miteinander darzustellen (evtl. auch im Vergleich zu allen Fortzügen von Ausländern).

Histogram of vehicle deaths

This is regarding the image [File:Motor_vehicle_deaths_in_the_US_histogram.svg], which is supposed to be a histogram of the data used to create this other image [File:Motor_vehicle_deaths_in_the_US.svg], but it actually isn't. See the talk [File_talk:Motor_vehicle_deaths_in_the_US_histogram.svg] of that file for a small explanation why. Would you be able to re-create the former such that it is actually a histogram of the data? If you need help, let me know. For example, separating the data into bins (the number and width of which is up to you to choose) and computing the frequencies. I am not familiar with gnuplot and don't know the exact code that you used. So, even if I learn it I don't know if the image would result with the same look as yours. I processed the deaths data using numpy (Python). I put a couple of the resulting histograms in the [File_talk:Motor_vehicle_deaths_in_the_US_histogram.svg], only as arrays of numbers. Moin von der Küste,
es ist schon so viele Jahre her, dass wir uns in Nürnberg getroffen haben, wir (Ailura und ich) planten deshalb einen Fotoworkshop im Frühjahr 2019. Als wir erfuhren, dass Sebastian ebenfalls in Frühjahr ein BarCamp plant, entschlossen wir uns, zusammen zu arbeiten. Wir gliedern uns organisatorisch an diesem BarCamp an, sprich sind im gleichen Hotel, essen gemeinsam und nutzen ein Raum des Camps für unsere Fotovorträge, ähnlich wie auf der WikiCon 2011 in Nürnberg.
Wie Ihr vielleicht mitbekommen habt, ist Gnu zu seiner letzten Wanderung aufgebrochen, daher möchten auch wir seiner Gedenken.
Die weiteren Tage wollen wir gemeinsam ein Programm aus Fototouren und Vorträgen zusammenstellen, es ist noch viel Luft für Eure Ideen und Vorträge. Den geplanten ausführlichen LR Workshop wird zu einem anderen Zeitpunkt im Frühsommer ( WMDE gibt den Ort vor) stattfinden, da dieser sehr weit in die Tiefe gehen soll. Ich würde mich freuen, Euch in Nürnberg begrüßen zu können, wundere Dich nicht über meine Nachricht auch wenn Du lange nichts mehr editiert hast, ich habe Deinen Namen aus den letzten FWS kopiert. ;)

@Jü: (auch deutschsprachig) mag ChemDraw-Bilder beisteuern. Jedoch ist der Text versetzt: File:Criegee_epoxide_mech.svg. Und zwar auf so eine Art und Weise, dass Firefox/Chrome/Inkscape die Datei nicht richtig darstellen. Ich habe gesehen, dass du meherere ChemDraw-SVGs beigesteuert hast, aber bei deinen SVGs diese Probleme nicht auftreten. Kannst du kurz beschreiben, was du gemacht hast. Kann man in ChemDraw SVGs exportieren? Hast du die Datei (automatisiert?) nachgebessert?

Ich hoffe du kannst uns weiterhelfen.

Can you add the border of South Sudan in File:RechtsverkehrUndLinksverkehr.png?

I am adding South Sudan (as well as Montenegro and other possible missing updates) in the PNG and GIF maps in Category:Maps needing South Sudan political boundaries and then remove this category after updating them. There were close to 1100 maps since I started to update these files on 1 March 2018, now it is reduced to less than 500 maps, but there is a long way to go. Unfortunately, sophisticated topographical and orthographical PNG and GIF maps and SVG maps as a whole are beyond my knowledge and capability.

Hi Kopiersperre, I noticed one of my Commons files (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:The_Kitchen_at_Biltmore_House_in_Asheville,_North_Carolina.jpg) was being used by you here:
