You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Première importation_Monet

Je viens de faire ma première importation. Pour les catégories saisies , elles sont surlignées en rouge, de même que pseudo. La navig. interlangues demande de l'entraînement. Il ne me reste plus qu'à ajouter le doc importé dans la liste des tableaux. Je ferai cela dès que possible, à moins que mon importation soit supprimée pour vice de procédure. @Tulsi Bhagat: Bonjour Tulsi Bhagat. En réponse à votre demande j' n'ai trouvé que cette info sur le site: " © 2017. All rights reserved. Sanskritassociation.org ". Vous allez donc supprimer le fichier. Dommage, je croyais qu'on pouvais utiliser tous les logos sur les wiki, d'autant plus que celui-ci ne concerne pas une marque commerciale mais culturelle. Category:Quan The Am statue (Da Nang)

Hi & thanks for your help on moving the above category. I have a question you may be able to help with: When I search for images of "Quan The Am statue (Da Nang)" on Commons, it finds a few that are not in the Category:Quan The Am statue (Da Nang) yet (such as your painting). I am unfamiliar with the statue. Could you check the search results and see which other files on Commons also belong in the Category:Quan The Am statue (Da Nang) (like File:Quan Am statue in Da Nang in 2015 02.jpg this one for example)? Hello Deadstar,

Tks for your help. But regarding the file you mention, File:Quan Am statue in Da Nang in 2015 02.jpg, it is not the same statue (Category:Linh Ung Pagoda) in Da Nang. This is another Pagoda. Consequently, may be it would be better to name the new category Category:Quan The Am statues (Da Nang) (i.e "plural statues" ).

I will check the other files on Commons and I will correct or get back to you via the help desk if need it.

Good morning @Deadstar: !

After checking, it appears that there are several files representing the same subject but with using different names (all are correct but to organize the categories it is really difficult, not to say impossible, as everyone can change at any moment; one encounters the same difficulty with the paintings categories for exemple –see those related to Claude Monet: it is deseperating).

But the subject of the day is about Category:Quan The Am statue (Da Nang). Among the 9 files, 4 of them are entitled “Lady Buddha” which is not correct (from a buddhist point of wiew). But we cannot change the titles given by the contributors who have imported the files, as we must respect what They did.

I have just added the Category:Linh Ung Pagoda on the 9 files. If from your side you could put on the plural the word “ statue= statues” , that will be better. Do you agree? Thks and best regards Deadstar.Contributeur2019 (talk) 05:05, 30 August 2020 (UTC)

Good morning Contributeur2019. I am the creator of the Category:Lady Buddha. I think it would be best to keep the category about the statue at Linh Ung Pagoda. Then we don't need to add the Category:Linh Ung Pagoda on each file because it is already on the Category:Quan The Am statue (Da Nang) and the categorization would be simpler. The pictures of the other statue can be on Category:Statues in Da Nang and Category:Statues of Quan The Am in Vietnam. If you think the title Category:Quan The Am statue (Da Nang) is not precise enough, we could rename the category Category:Quan The Am statue (Linh Ung Pagoda). May be a Category:Quan The Am statue (Linh Ung Pagoda) would be more precise, because in Da Nang there are several statues of Quan The Am in other pagodas.
