Assuming you wanted to comment those lines I changed "#" to "//". "//" excludes all following bytes in this line to be interpreted by the JS engine. 1. --McZusatz (talk) 07:28, 20 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thank You McZusatz!
Apparently I'd chosen the wrong example to base my exclusion syntax off of. "#" followed by a space is exclusionary in some language or other isn't it though? Bash script or some such? (I'm wondering where I got that from at this point…) --Kevjonesin (talk) 08:09, 20 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
Jup, bash script uses those as comments. Everything working as expected now? --McZusatz (talk) 10:58, 20 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
Yes,.. und ich bin sehr glücklich. Schön dank McZusatz! Viel Spaß, --Kevjonesin (talk) 11:16, 20 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Mystery post edit

Just so the procedural warning is on both account talkpages, Don't remove my comments. Get someone who isn't using the ‎Kevjonesin or Patrick87 accounts to do it. Penyulap 21:06, 25 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

I don't know what you are talking about. Perhaps a section heading and some relevant links and/or other details might help me parse your statement. --Kevjonesin (talk) 21:14, 25 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
He’s talking about [16], see also my talk page. Penyulap is now implying that you were a sockpuppet of me (or vice versa) *sigh*. --Patrick87 (talk) 21:38, 25 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
A bit ironic considering his/her en:Wikipedia history. I suppose one often is inclined to judge others based upon one’s own inclinations. Wow. I think this indicates that Peny has achieved a whole new level of butthurt. --Kevjonesin (talk) 21:44, 25 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

File:Siracha sauce.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Your talk page. edit

Hi Kevjonesin,

Per the discussion here, Jmabel comment "He doesn't want to be seen as trying to evade the ban by having someone else post his remarks on his behalf" is correct. This is the reason among other reasons why I want my comment removed from the English Wikipedia. In fact, I don't want my name on the English Wikipedia. My comment shouldn't have been pasted on the English Wikipedia in the first place. Thus, I asked the poster to remove my comment from there. Thank you. Wikicology (talk) 13:55, 20 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • The quoted passage placed on my en.Wikipedia user talkpage might be framed as Jmabel quoting public domain content from Commons (it's my understanding that user contributions to Wikimedia sites automatically enter the public domain). He quoted a statement you chose to make a matter of public record by placing it in a discussion here at Commons and as it henceforth became public domain content folks are free to use it as they see fit, however, wherever. He quite explicitly indicated he was quoting and took personal responsibility for doing so by signing and dating the comment in which the quote was contained with his own user info. I see no reason to presume his having quoted you (along with quoting his own rebuttal) was in some way indicating you were trying to extend influence to a Wiki where you've been banned. However, when you prompted Commons users to make reversions to to my personal talkpage at en.Wikipedia you most certainly were attempting to extend influence past the ban onto en.Wikipedia. The result of which was disruption of my personal namespace in the form of multiple unauthorized reversions and comment refactoring by editors responding to your request. If someone had asked me to edit my page as a courtesy perhaps things may have gone differently; but instead changes were made to my talkpage without consulting me or even explicitly informing me in advance. Starting with a third party not previously involved in the discussion there making an unannounced drive-by-edit. Are you familiar with the term 'self fulfilling prophecy'? Your attempt to address a nonexistent problem created problems of its own. Largely for me. Please don't ask other users to make edits in my namespace on your behalf again. --Kevjonesin (talk) 06:07, 22 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
