You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

Hi Patrick—very sorry, didn't realize. I thought that if the issue were corrected that that would be the proper procedure. It won't happen again. Thanks. Mianvar1 (talk) 16:32, 4 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Patrick Rogel: Re: Deletion Nomination — The artist, William Conger, has addressed the issue so that the image of the painting "Trolley" on his website now properly reflects the public domain dedication that appeared on his 500px.com page for the painting. The painting's information now reads "Trolley | 66"x30" CC0 2008 | oil on canvas" on the web page reached by clicking on the painting's thumbnail on this web page: http://www.williamconger.com/paintings2.html. --Mianvar1 (talk) 19:41, 4 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

I was 9 minutes too late, wasn't I? - Alexis Jazz 22:12, 14 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Alexis Jazz: I'm trying to conform and apologize in advance for my honest mistake. I looked up the instructions and tried to follow them. But to be honest, the various locations, differing locations for information, and buried best-practices are a bit byzantine... It's not especially conducive to encouraging contributors sometimes. --Mianvar1 (talk) 22:37, 14 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
Don't worry about, some people have been around here for years and still discover new policies and functions. - Alexis Jazz 23:17, 14 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
