Farben und Tongeschlechter

Hallo Roter Hahn,

mal eine Frage. Ich habe dein Bild Quintenzirkeldeluxe gesehen, und war ziemlich überrascht über deine Farbzuordnung. Hattest du irgendeinen Grund, rot für Moll und blau für Dur zu wählen?

In meinen Grafiken ist es genau umgekehrt, und ich finde, es spricht auch alles dafür Dur rot und Moll blau zu machen: Fast alle Menschen werden Dur als die "fröhlichere" und Moll als die "traurigere" Tonart empfinden - das sind ja die Standardbeschreibungen. Ich bin mir sicher, dass ebenso fast alle Menschen blau als die "traurigere" der beiden Farben empfinden, also eher mit Moll in Verbindung bringen werden - und das "stärkere" rot eher mit Dur.

minor - Major ... schwächer - stärker ... "traurig" - "fröhlich"

Außerdem ist Dur "wichtiger", jedenfalls wird alles zuerst (oder nur) in Dur erklärt, auch der Quintenzirkel. Und für wichtig steht auch eindeutig die Farbe rot.

Um Verwirrung zu vermeiden, fände ich es gut, wenn wir uns auf das intuitivere blau = Moll und rot = Dur einigen würden, und könnte mir auch vorstellen andere Bilder entsprechend zu ändern.

About "A treatise on electricity..."

I'm working a little on "A Treatise..." into wikisource and I saw that you uploaded the images of the book into Commons. Something is doubtful on the scans....they are not so detailed, nd matemathics needs care for details, so if I'm asking you: do you have the original book? Can I ask you some detail if needed? Please help replace this outdated license

Hello!

Thank you for donating images to the Wikimedia Commons. You have uploaded some images in the past with the license {{PD}}. While this was a license acceptable in the early days of Wikimedia, since January 2006, this license has been deprecated and since October 2008 no new uploads with this license was allowed.

Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
