• Use the CommonsDelinker link in the {{Rename}} template to order a bot to replace all ocurrences of the old title with the new one. Or, if there was no rename-request, please use the Move & Replace-tab.
• Please leave a redirect behind unless you have a valid reason not to do so. Other projects, including those using InstantCommons, might be using the file even though they don't show up in the global usage. Deleting the redirects would break their file references. Please see this section of the file rename guideline for more information.

Merci de ne pas sur-catégoriser le fichier Clam 3.JPG. La règle générale est de toujours placer l'image dans la catégorie la plus précise et non dans les branches supérieures. La catégorie "Eglise Saint-Martin (Clam)" est d'un rang inférieur aux catégories "Clam (Charente-Maritime)", "Romanesque churches in Charente-Maritime", "Saint Martin churches in Charente-Maritime" et "Churches in Charente-Maritime". Il n'y a donc pas lieu que le fichier apparaisse dans une sous-catégorie et des catégories de la même branche d'arborescence. Pour plus d'information voir Commons:Kategorye. Bilder umbenennen

Moin Cosal,
hätte ich gewußt das Du meine Bilder umbenennst hätte ich gerne eine Bitte geäußert. Beispiel; "Flug -Nordholz-Hammelburg 2015 by-RaBoe by-RaBoe " doppeltes by-RaBoe war ein Fehler bei der Datenbenennung, von daher wäre ich froh wenn es weg wäre, der Rest ist perfekt, vielen Dank. Moin Cosal, war leider Zufall, auf einem Freitag musste die Maschine von Cux nach Hammelburg überführt werden, leider mit volle Pulle und ohne das ich Einfluss auf den Route hatte. Da ich die BC 100 habe, konnte ich einfach mal schnell nach Cux fahren und dann einfach von Ziel einfach in den nächsten Zug steigen ;). Diese Möglichkeit gibt so schnell nicht wieder. Important message for file movers

A community discussion has been closed where the consensus was to grant all file movers the suppressredirect user right. This will allow file movers to not leave behind a redirect when moving files and instead automatically have the original file name deleted. Policy never requires you to suppress the redirect, suppression of redirects is entirely optional.

Possible acceptable uses of this ability:

• To move recently uploaded files with an obvious error in the file name where that error would not be a reasonable redirect. For example: moving "Sheep in a tree.jpg" to "Squirrel in a tree.jpg" when the image does in fact depict a squirrel.
• To perform file name swaps.
• When the original file name contains vandalism. (File renaming criterion #5)

Please note, this ability should be used only in certain circumstances and only if you are absolutely sure that it is not going to break the display of the file on any project. Redirects should never be suppressed if the file is in use on any project. When in doubt, leave a redirect. If you forget to suppress the redirect in case of file name vandalism or you are not fully certain if the original file name is actually vandalism, leave a redirect and tag the redirect for speedy deletion per G2.

The malicious or reckless breaking of file links via the suppressredirect user right is considered an abuse of the file mover right and is grounds for immediate revocation of that right. This message serves as both a notice that you have this right and as an official warning. Hallo Baummapper, bitte sieh Dir die amtliche Verordnung an, mit der das Gebiet zum NSG erklärt wurde: Verordnung über das Naturschutzgebiet Festberg bei Philippinenthal vom 21. Oktober 1992. Das NSG ist mitnichten amtlich so genannt; so inkompetent sind hessische Beamte nun wirklich nicht, dass sie Ortsnamen nicht korrekt lesen und wiedergeben können. Naja, genau dies haben die famosen hessischen Beamten aber in der Natureg-Datenbank gemacht, und so auch national und international weitergegeben, vgl. z.B.

Aber Du hast recht, in der ursrpünglichen Ausweisung ist der Ortsname korrekt wiedergegeben, also wohl erst ein späterer Übertragungsfehler, habe das eben entsprechend auch in OSM angeglichen.

Sehr gut, danke. Mir ist allerdings nicht klar, ob es die famosen hessischen Beamten waren, die den irrigen Eintrag in der Natureg-Datenbank gemacht haben, oder ob das die Dateneingeber bei Natureg waren: die haben auch das Jahr der NSG-Verordnung mit 1990 falsch eingegeben. Prince Harry of Wales

Hi!!
You moved the categories "Prince Harry of Wales" to "Prince Harry" justifying that "he was never prince of Wales". That's true he was never Prince of Wales, but he was called "Prince Harry of Wales" because he is son of the "Prince of Wales". You can check his titles on Prince Harry's article on Wikipedia.
Harry and William received the titles of "Duke" after their respective marriages, before both were known as "of Wales". It is the same as Prince George of Cambridge isn't Prince of Cambridge, but he is son of the Duke of Cambridge. Princess Beatrice of York (now only Princess Beatrice) is daughter of the Duke of York.
