Hi Mouagip. I've noticed that you have updated file:Lichtreaktion-z-schema.svg. It seems like that you have removed the frame. Is that true? The frame is necessary, as you can see on one of your pics: File:Transmembrane receptor.svg, where the "P" is cutted a little bit. Likewise the "p" on the left "Standardredoxpotential" is sliced a little bit... Cheers, --Yikrazuul (talk) 10:42, 29 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

You're right. I'll see to it. --Mouagip (talk) 11:02, 29 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

If you say so. Since the SVG is obviously broken, I intended to fix it. But it's your work... you can do with it what you want. --Mouagip (talk) 20:35, 4 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Datei:Mureine_de.svg

Hallo Mouagip. -- Brudersohn (talk) 19:48, 21 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Beste Grüße --Mouagip (talk) 21:12, 21 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
Danke, Mouagip!

about File:Lichtreaktion-z-schema.svg

I marked it so that I could keep track of SVG files that cause problems with rsvg rendering. These reveal bugs in rsvg that I hope to be able to get fixed.

On this particular file, only the first few revisions are problems. If you want to take the tag off the file, please re-upload the first revidion to a seperate name and tag *that* un-fixed file. Thanks for your help on this.

Also, I didn't realize you were vectorizing files. Thanks for that awesome work! -- MarkAHershberger(talk) 13:50, 23 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Ah, it's ok, I thought there was a problem with the file I made. And thank you very much for your appreciation! Of course everyone here works voluntarily but it's nevertheless always nice to get positive feedback about the things you do :-) --Mouagip (talk) 14:36, 23 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
This tag is here not needed, it is the old and well-known text-flow bug, s. Help:SVG#Fonts. I would also propose to convert the text to font back. To further good work. Greetings -- πϵρήλιο 19:19, 23 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Round 2 of Picture of the Year 2013 is open!

2012 Picture of the Year: A pair of European Bee-eaters in Ariège, France.

Dear Wikimedians,

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2013 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eighth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2013) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. The top 30 overall and the most popular image in each category have continued to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just one image to become the Picture of the Year.

Round 2 will end on 7 March 2014. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:MyLanguage/Commons:Picture_of_the_Year/2013/Introduction/en Click here to learn more and vote »]

  2. In second place, 155 people voted for an image of "Sviati Hory" (Holy Mountains) National Park in Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine.
  3. In third place, 131 people voted for an image of a swallow flying and drinking.

Source of colors in https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Scriabin-Circle.svg

edit

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out where did you get color values you have used in: File:Scriabin-Circle.svg

I got them from the original PNG image File:Scriabin-Circle.png --Mouagip (talk) 18:55, 12 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
Thx. Looks like those colors are mostly author perception :D
Are the colors wrong somehow? If so, do you have a source that describes what the "correct" colors should be? --Mouagip (talk) 19:48, 12 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
They are "listed" in the article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromesthesia and corresponding publication [26]. Basically the colors names there are very broad, that's why I wanted ask an author of the .png why he choose those exact colors..

File:Scriabin-Circle.svg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Can you help?

edit

Hi there, as you are the last user who has edited File:Lichtreaktion-z-schema.svg, you seem to have tools for editing SVG files which I don't have. So could you please correct at the above mentioned file the "2e-" to "4e-" at the very last reaction of the 2nd chain where reduced ferredoxin reduces 2 NADP+ + 2 H+ to 2 NADPH? Because this reaction actually consumes not just 2, but 4 electrons (the same ones produced at the very beginning of the entire scheme), provided by 4 reduced ferredoxins (see w:en:Ferredoxin—NADP(+) reductase). Greetings, Qniemiec (talk) 22:48, 8 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I moved this to the discussion page of the file. --Mouagip (talk) 17:55, 10 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
