Copyright violations
edit
Hello Awikimate.
You have uploaded one or more files that are copyright violations. You have done so despite requests from editors not to do so, and despite their instructions. See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules by subject matter useful. This is your last warning. The next time you upload a file that violates copyright, you will be blocked. Please leave me a message if you have further questions. |
Please sign your postings
editAs a courtesy to other editors, it is Commons:Signatures policy to sign your posts on talk pages, user talk pages, deletion requests, and noticeboards. To do so, simply add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments. Your user name or IP address (if you are not logged in) and the date will then automatically be added along with a timestamp when you save your comment. Signing your comments helps people to find out who said something and provides them with a link to your user/talk page (for further discussion). Thank you.

Thanks for uploading File:Fifty Cruzados Novos.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Fifty Cruzados Novos.jpg]] ) and the above demanded information in your request. |

Image problems
editAs the uploader you are responsible for providing all the necessary information we need to verify the copyright status of images you upload which we take very seriously. You did not provide a unique source url for any the Rollei camera images and a generic word "Flickr" as the source is absolutely no use for finding an image. When I found the Flickr source images I saw they all have copyright restriction which we do not accept. In future please be more careful so your uploads can be found and reviewed positively by our bot instead of forcing human volunteers to search around. As constructive advise, I suggest you use the Flickr2Commons upload tool because it transfers in all the appropriate details from Flickr. It is not perfect as Flickr users can falsely license images as free even when they are obviously not but in general it works well. You will find it at: https://tools.wmflabs.org/flickr2commons. Thanks and good luck. Ww2censor (talk) 15:50, 22 June 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot, Ww2censor. Sorry for the mistake, I genuinely thought those works were good enough.--Awikimate (talk) 16:45, 22 June 2017 (UTC)
- No great problem but unfortunately we are rather strict on copyright. The full list of Creative Commons tags acceptable to us are here: Commons:Copyright tags#Free Creative Commons licenses. There are a few freely licensed Rollei images to be found in these one two searches but you might have to scroll through quite a few images to find ones you like. Good luck. - Dear Gunnex, I made some changes in order to clarify the sources and rights of this file, could please have a look and let me know whether I made things right? Thanks a lot.--Awikimate (talk) 23:34, 24 July 2017 (UTC)
- Hi! Thx for the effort (it looks quite good), but unfortunately 1 part of your collage was deleted (from above: 2nd row, 1st image left --> cache) compromising the whole file. See also Commons:Collages. You have to substitue the file to avoid deleteion. The other related files are looking good.
- Btw: for your next collage you may use (if you like) the <gallery>-tag and some shortener as seen e.g. in File:Vitória ES.jpg. Gunnex (talk) 07:42, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
- Hey Gunnex, sorry to bother you so often. Could you have a look now? I replaced the image that had a problem. Thanks again.--Awikimate (talk) 16:55, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
- Done, see diff. Gunnex (talk) 17:34, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
File:Brasao barao do Amparo.png has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.
If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |

- Jarekt, the name of the book is Archivo Nobiliarchico Brasileiro, published in Lausanne/Switzerland by La Concorde in 1918 by Rodolfo Smith de Vasconcellos (1846-1826) and Jayme Smith de Vasconcellos (1884-1933). It is in the public domain.--Awikimate (talk) 18:34, 26 September 2017 (UTC)
- Awikimate, After I wrote to you I figured it out and corrected the file description. --Jarekt (talk) 18:50, 26 September 2017 (UTC)
