Hejsan David. Jag satt och skrev om Henrik Jais-Nielsen på svenska Wikipedia och ett av de projekt han ritat var Lerbergets kyrka 1982. Men bilden du har tagit är på Höganäs kyrka (ritad av Ivar Tengbom) och inte Lerbergets kyrka. Lerbergets kyrka är en låg byggnad i mörkbrunt tegel, typisk för sin tids kyrkoarkitektur. Jag har bytt plats på bilderna på svWiki, men namnet är fortfarande fel. Jag vet inte hur man byter namn på bilder här så jag tänkte bara skriva till dig så du vet. Jag har själv inte besökt någon av kyrkorna utan frågade min vän från trakten efter det att vi flugit över Kullahalvön vilken kyrka det var - det måste ha blivit någon miss i kommunikationen oss emellan. Category:Eslövs kyrka

Hi Dcastor, you have categorized this church as "Brick Gothic" but we use this category only for medieval Brick Gothic architecture and this church is obviously "Brick Gothic revival". Green/yellow

Hi! I replaced your version of File:Heimaey.JPG because it looks rather washed-out and has very low contrast. I would prefer the original version to your over-brightened one, but thought that version too could use some improvement. I may have put a bit too much contrast into the picture, but your replacement comment puzzles me: "I preffer when the grass looks green". I fail to see what grass in my version (or the original) that is not green. In your version the color borders on yellow and the sky has lost most of it's blue, so I am wondering if you have a very dark setting on your computer screen. /Dcastor (talk) 18:10, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

What do you think of File:Heimaey,_vu_du_Nord.jpg, which is inserted next to File:Heimaey.JPG on English Wikipedia's article en:Heimaey ?

On my computer, File:Heimaey,_vu_du_Nord.jpg's grass and sky look good, and I would like File:Heimaey.JPG to look similar : the sky is pale, but people watch the picture in order to see the Island. There is a big difference between the two. File:Heimaey,_vu_du_Nord.jpg is sharp and not at all hazy like File:Heimaey.JPG. I am making a new attempt, trying to make a brighter version, but without the haze. /Dcastor (talk) 20:02, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

Hi Ghostofnemo. The Wikimedia Commons is the main databse for media used in all Wikimedia projects. The media in this database are directly accesssible from the different Wikipedia projects (I found that the one you are referring to is the English Wikipedia). This means that there is no use in re-uploading media from Commons locally on the English Wikipedia, since the media files on Commons can be directly used fith the File-tag inside Wikipedia. Hi. I have just made the following modification to your file:

Recompressed (using XnView, at JPEG quality level 80) from 6.5 MB to 1.2 MB. No loss of quality is detectable even to an inquisitive eye.

If you decide that this change is detrimental, please, revert it.

You may want to check JPEG compression settings in your camera. I find level 80 satisfactory.

Men de andra två. Jag är inte så hemma på bilder som dessa som jag tror du är. Min gissning är att det är fråga om Maria och aposteln Johannes, och är ganska säker på det. Då utgår jag från att det är bara en enda (inte alltför ung) kvinna, och hon anses ofta vara den mest centrala qwinnan i NT. Och den som var med henne på Golgata var just J, som däremot är mycket ung, vilket åtminstone jag utläser av NT att han var.

Men jag är inte expert på symboler i målningar och om det finns någon sådan ledtråd så missar jag den i det här fallet. I en faksimil från 1951 av 1526 års utgåva av NT. Detta är sidan före Förordet. Träsnittet (som jag gissar det är) återkommer i slutet efter felstavningar och register, men före faksimilutgivarens efterskrift. Denna bild ska även finnas före förordet till NT i 1541 års utgåva. Important message for file movers

A community discussion has been closed where the consensus was to grant all file movers the suppressredirect user right. This will allow file movers to not leave behind a redirect when moving files and instead automatically have the original file name deleted. Policy never requires you to suppress the redirect, suppression of redirects is entirely optional.

Possible acceptable uses of this ability:

• To move recently uploaded files with an obvious error in the file name where that error would not be a reasonable redirect. For example: moving "Sheep in a tree.jpg" to "Squirrel in a tree.jpg" when the image does in fact depict a squirrel.
• To perform file name swaps.
• When the original file name contains vandalism. (File renaming criterion #5)

Please note, this ability should be used only in certain circumstances and only if you are absolutely sure that it is not going to break the display of the file on any project. Redirects should never be suppressed if the file is in use on any project. When in doubt, leave a redirect. If you forget to suppress the redirect in case of file name vandalism or you are not fully certain if the original file name is actually vandalism, leave a redirect and tag the redirect for speedy deletion per G2.

The malicious or reckless breaking of file links via the suppressredirect user right is considered an abuse of the file mover right and is grounds for immediate revocation of that right. This message serves as both a notice that you have this right and as an official warning. Den 1 september inleds 2022 års svenska deltävling av Wiki Loves Monuments, där det skulle vara väldigt roligt om du ville vara med och delta! Målet med Wiki Loves Monuments är att fotografera svenska kulturarvsmonument. De kategorier som ingår är byggnadsminnen, fornminnen, kulturmärkta fartyg och fritidsbåtar och arbetslivsmuseer – och du är välkommen att bidra med bilder hela september.

An exhibit from an unidentified museum

Hello, do you think you could remember or look up where you made File:Hotchkiss M1900-1.jpg in 2008? Ain92 (talk) 16:34, 18 February 2023 (UTC)

I tried to remember exactly where already when uploading. It was taken somewhere near Karlskrona, Sweden, but we visited several parts of the old military fortifications that day and I was part of a group, just tagging along with a bit too little attention as to exactly where we were. /Dcastor (talk) 07:10, 20 February 2023 (UTC)

Du får det här meddelandet eftersom du tidigare har bidragit med bilder till de svenska deltävlingarna av Wiki Loves Earth eller Wiki Loves Monuments. Jag hoppas att du vill vara med i år också! Som vanligt ingår naturreservat och nationalparker, biosfärområden och naturminnen i tävlingen! Nytt för i år är att vi utöver bästa foto även belönar fotograferande av tidigare ofotograferade objekt samt bästa bildserie om minst tio fotografier av samma objekt. Tävlingen börjar 1 maj, och pågår under hela maj månad. Om du har varit ute i världen och rest kan du även se om resorna sammanfaller med övriga internationella deltävlingar, och i så fall vara med och tävla även där. Expeditioner, fotosafari eller en helt vanlig promenad? Via en smidig karta som visar ditt närområde hittar du bra ställen att besöka – eller varför inte damma av fotoalbumen och tävla med bilder du har tagit tidigare?

Gällande bilder från Hallands Väderö

Hejsan! Tittar igenom bilderna från tisdagens WLE-uppladdningar och upptäckte att dina bilder från Hallands Väderö har fått fel taggning i mallen {{Wiki Loves Earth Sweden}}. Istället för 2000962 har de fått id-numret för Söderåsens nationalpark (2001828). Är det okej för dig att jag redigerar mallen och lägger in rätt NVR-id? -- LevandeMänniska (talk), 00:16, 3 May 2023 (UTC)
