Hallo, du hast deine Benutzerseite zur Löschung nominiert, die Anfrage ist in der Kategorie incomplete deletion requests gelandet weil du keine Unterseite erstellt hast. Ich sehe kein Problem darin, den redirect einfach zu löschen, den Grund ist klar. Allerdings verlinken noch einige Seiten auf die alte Benutzerseite, nämlich die Bilder, in denen der alte Benutzername verwendet wird. Sollen diese Links auch geändert werden? Grüße, --Martin H. Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

No problem. In fact your intensions were right. „Rotes Höhenvieh“ is a correct name but the common name in the wiki context an the mostly used is „Harzer Rotvieh“ so it's not the worst idea to move all images to the category „Harzer Rotvieh“. The author of the original image has deceased 74 years ago. The work has been published in Germany. So the image is in the public domain now. Could you elaborate you reasons?

wenn ich es richtig sehe, hast Du die Kategorie "Fortuner Teich" geschaffen und möglicherweise auch weitere Kategorien in Sachen Oberharzer Wasserregal. Danke dafür. Ich habe es leider immer noch nicht herausgefunden, wie man Kategorien in commons kreiert, so habe ich auch heute wieder Bilder als "Kategorie Oberharzer Wasserregal" hochgeladen, für die man eigentlich eine Kategorie "Oberer Kellerhalsteich" schaffen sollte. @JuTe CLZ: ja, ich habe einige Kategorien angelegt und mit den Wikidata-Objekten verknüpft. Die Kategorien anlegen ist ziemlich einfach, ich kann es dir gerne zeigen.
