Restored image

A month ago File:Bicicritica abril 08.jpg was deleted for no having clear information on its permission (the source site does not seem to any copyright notice around), and you restored it because of some ticket with authorization. Is such ticket enough by now? If it is, you should link it in the file and remove the warning of no permission. Quería preguntar por esta foto, ya que un usuario la ha subido e insiste en ponerla en el artículo Amy Dumas, pero yo creo que tiene copyright, ya que parece sacada por un cámara oficial o tomada de un vídeo de la empresa, nada más por el ángulo en el que toma la foto. Permiso de OTRS

Necesito ayuda. Acabo de recibir por correo una autorización por parte del propietario del sitio web http://www.ortodoncia.ws, en la que autoriza a publicar sus imágenes bajo la licencia libre "cc-sa-by-3.0". Y bueno, me gustaría saber qué tengo que hacer para autentificar eso. Quiero decir, ¿reenvío el correo tal cual a la dirección de OTRS, sin especificar nada más? Porque, ten en cuenta, que me ha dado permiso para usar TODAS sus imágenes, siempre y cuando se las atribuya y ponga esa licencia.

También, dado que ahora tengo permiso para subir las imágenes de ese sitio web, ¿eso podría dar pie a la creación de una nueva plantilla de licencia?

Y otra cosa: si subo imágenes de ese sitio web, ¿tendría que mandarlas todas a los del OTRS para autetificarlas, o con esa autorización ya basta?

OTRS

Hi, I'm writing you regarding the following matter: As you probably know, the OTRS team handles emails, in which user confirm the copyright for files they uploaded. We have different queues for different languages and volunteers who reply to them. Unfortunatly our spanish speaking volunteers became inactive a while ago. Now the queue for spanish e-mails is growing and noone is able to handle them in a timely fashion.

Fotos de luchadores tomadas desde fuera del ring, por lo que a primera vista, pueden ser perfectamente tomadas por fans. Lo malo es que subió muchas y todas se las han borrado. Ahora, sigue subiendo fotos. Yo estoy mosca, pues no me apetece que suba 20, ponerlas y después revertir porque se las han borrado. Podrías ayudarme con esto? ¿File:Ourense_12_30-07-2008.jpg es el gl:Ponte Maior de Ourense? En ese caso según http://gl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lista_de_monumentos_da_provincia_de_Ourense el identificador sería RI-51-0001283

La iglesia de Sta. María de Gallecs debería aparecer en http://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Llista_de_monuments_del_Vall%C3%A8s_Oriental, es extraño.

Finalmente, de Valpuesta sólo encuentro la Iglesia Parroquial de Valpuesta, que no sé si es File:Valpuesta_03_15-07-2008.jpg o no.

La Iglesia Parroquial de Valpuesta, ya lo había visto y no es File:Valpuesta_03_15-07-2008.jpg, es File:Valpuesta 01 15-07-2008.jpg y File:Valpuesta 02 15-07-2008.jpg, que ya están incluidos y con el código. Respecto a los otros, yo había mirado la lista de códigos sólo en la Wikipedia en español, creyendo que listaría todos los de España. Bot de WLM

El robot ha hecho muchas ediciones que añaden categorias redundantes. Por ejemplo: [4] es innecesaria puesto que la Categoria Category:Castell de Miralles ya esta dentro de Category:Cultural heritage monuments in Anoia y esta a su vez dentro de Category:Cultural heritage monuments in Catalonia. Lo mismo digo con la mayoría de los BCIN que estoy cargando: estás poniendo categorías redundantes. Por otro lado, comprobar el código y dejar en el historial el nombre del monumento para evitar errores da tranquilidad, aunque deberías revisar las listas que utilizas; por ejemplo, el museo de Sitges és Romàntic (romántico) y no románico.--Pere prlpz (talk) 08:46, 6 September 2011 (UTC)

El bot comprueba que las imágenes no estén ya en una subcategoría, Añadió Category:Castell de Miralles porque es una categoría nueva y la lista de subcategorías la creé el día 4. Ya había tenido ese problema con otras categorías nuevas y había añadido unas cuantas a mano. Voy a regenerar la lista completa.

La lista que usa es la del ministerio. Puedes verlo más fácil en la copia. Me temo que sí comete semejante error.

Ayuda

Hola... Buenas, quiero pedir ayuda respecto a mis mal antecedentes que tengo aquí en Commons, soy usuario de Wikipedia ya desde hace 2 años (sólo un mes para el tercero) y en verdad nunca he cometido ninguna falta en el proyecto Wikipedia. En verdad el motivo de mi ayuda es preguntar si se puede hacer algo con respecto a mi página de discusión, llena de advertencias e incluso bloqueos temporales en Commons, que cuando recién empezé a utilizar y a entender el tema de Wikipedia no tenía la más mínima idea del copyright en el proyecto, ya que hace 2 años tenía 14 años (si bien los entendía, no tomaba en cuenta la importancia de ésto en Wikipedia, cosa que ha cambiado con el paso del tiempo). En verdad sólo quiero consultar respecto a esto y ver si existe alguna solución ya que en verdad no tengo los ánimos de subir alguna imágen contra copyright o algo por el estilo. • Category:Cultural heritage monuments in Álava-Araba en lugar de Category:Cultural heritage monuments in the province of Álava-Araba
• Category:Cultural heritage monuments in Biscay en lugar de Category:Cultural heritage monuments in the province of Biscay

Monestir de St Josep i Sta Teresa

Saludos. He subido varias imágenes del Monasterio de San José y Santa Teresa de Valencia (BIC 46.15.250-201) y el bot le asigna un monumento de Navarra con ref. RI-51-0000056 que no tiene nada que ver. Las imágenes se llaman Monestir de St Josep i Sta Teresa a.jpg, File:Monestir de St Josep i Sta Teresa b.jpg, File:Monestir de St Josep i Sta Teresa c.jpg, File:Monestir de St Josep i Sta Teresa d.jpg y File:Monestir de St Josep i Sta Teresa e.jpg . CIDOB, Casa de la Misericòrdia i Capella dels Infants Orfes

El cambio es correcto, pero yo no renombraría los ficheros.

El CIDOB es una fundación cuyas dependencias (o almenos las más visibles) se encuentran actualmente en la Casa de la Misericòrdia [5]. El problema es que en el fichero del ayuntamiento la vecina Capella dels Infants Orfes aparece como "Dependències del CIDOB" [6]. Esto nos había llevado a unos cuantos a cargar las fotos de la Casa de la Misericòrdia (que también tiene una capilla) como si fueran de la Capella dels Infants Orfes, guiándonos por el letrero del CIDOB que hay en la puerta, hasta que alguien se dió cuenta del desaguisado (ca:Usuari_Discussió:Pere_prlpz#Més_WLM). Ahora creo que ya hemos arreglado los códigos, descripciones y categorías de las imágenes y hemos sacado de la lista de monumentos la referencia al CIDOB, para evitar confusiones.

Error en Fotografia

Hola, la fotografia que aparece en http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Bas%C3%ADlica_de_Santa_Mar%C3%ADa_A_Grande_en_Pontevedra.jpg no se corresponde con la Basilica de Santa Maria, sino que es de la capilla de la Virgen Peregrina, también en Pontevedra. I made the list mapping provinces to categories on 4th September, and used the categories I found. Turns out that later that same day, Category:Monuments historiques in the province of Soria was renamed to Category:Cultural heritage monuments in the province of Soria. If the second one was already created at that time, I just didn't notice it. I was filling one list, and searching for a category with that province name, I can't be certain that it hadn't been created yet, although it's probable, since those with the same format were easier to deal with. Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Buenas, estaba subiendo la plantilla BIC a la categoría que contiene el archivo en cuestión, por ejemplo para el castillo de Grajal de Campos, en vez de que aparezca en cada uno de los archivos, lo he puesto a un nivel superior Category:Castle_of_Grajal_de_Campos. Your bot sets rotate template wrong

I manually added those templates. The images are roteted (see full-size version), even if MediaWiki is autorotating the thumbnails and hiding the fact (when rotatebot uploads the new version, it will reset the Exif, so thumbnails continue to be right). Okay, but it will not work like you want it. Rotatebot got a code update: It understands EXIF now. Your images will have a wrong orientation after Rotatebot has processed them. It takes the rotation parameter relative to the thumbnails.

A pure EXIF data reset is not available currently - but maybe I will program one - see Template_talk:Rotate#Do_we_need_degree_parameter_if_it_is_an_EXIF_issue.3F.This is not what you want... what you want is not and probably will no be supported since your images show up correctly. The issue with the full view (click on the preview on the file page) will probably be solved by linking a 100% MediaWiki thumb instead. Well, I want to upload the images "right". I could have manually changed them before uploading when I saw the rotated thumb at the interface but it would have been harder than dropping a {{Rotate}} (locate the file, rotate and restart the list). I thought that the autorotation had been reverted, btw (you can view my pov on the whole issue at [8]). Viewing the image right confused me (so much for being friendly with rotated images), but after I found that it was just the thumbnails, I kept it assuming the behavior explained above (strengthed by the fact that the preview link didn't show overrotated). Most "right" and compatible with everything is to upload them physically rotated with no rotation specified in the EXIF data. Luxo and I have adjusted Rotatebot and the rotate template to be compatible with the new interface. Your images have correct EXIF Orientation and do not need and rotation therefore.

The rotation by EXIF data hasn't been reverted and currently it doesn't look like it will. If the full-size view is also rotated by EXIF the interface is consistent again. This is not done yet. I have made the needed adjustments to the code of rotatebot: it can rotate images now - as you requested - by 0° although this isn't needed as the thumbs are correct. Full size view will hopefolly be fixed soon. About the documentation, it's an internal parameter, purposefully not available for {{LicenseReview}} callers. I looked to add a note like "There's also a site_name parameter used internally for making variations of this template" but doesn't seem to be possible with the {{TemplateBox}} translation system? Dear Platonides,

There isn't any secret. I've written a letter to every participant of the WLM-HU 2011 asking images with original resolution. (Indafoto engine converts every image to 1600 pixels on longer side and doesn't store original images.) I've received hundreds of images via e-mail and I'm uploading the original images here.
