Dear Christian,

If you can, please kindly review this rare image that I persuaded someone on flickr to license freely. Thank You for everything. Best Regards, --Leoboudv (talk) 02:35, 2 May 2024 (UTC)

Dear Christian,

Please review this images below when you can.

Secondly, do you know who can clean up this image below. It is the only image for Sithathor.

Thank You, --Leoboudv (talk) 10:56, 10 May 2024 (UTC)

Hungarian Commons users

Dear Christian,

Do you know any active Hungarian Commons Admins or users? Unfortunately Hungarian wikipedia blocks me from leaving any messages on the talkpages of any Hungarian (or magyar) users on Hungarian wikipedia. Just curious....since I rarely edit there but I can leave messages on German wikipedia users talkpages about new good approved flickr images. Best, --Leoboudv (talk) 00:47, 15 May 2024 (UTC)

  • "This is my basic image below:

Can someone perhaps approve my edit here on Hungarian wikipedia that I made as I am on English wikipedia.: https://hu.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Szithathor&action=history

It is the only colour image of Princess Sithathor's jewellry. PS: Recently I managed to get a few other images licensed freely like these images:

If you want, you can use them for their Hungarian wikipedia articles. "

Its a simple message but not so simple when my message on Hungarian wikipedia is blocked as spam. Best, --Leoboudv (talk) 00:56, 15 May 2024 (UTC)

@Leoboudv: Alensha has approved your edit. --Regasterios (talk) 20:25, 16 May 2024 (UTC)

Dear Christian,

Please review this quality image when you can. Thank You.

  • I managed to persuade the Russian person on flickr to license it freely. That is why the author has 2 names--in Cyrillic and Latin. Best, --Leoboudv (talk) 03:24, 18 May 2024 (UTC)
  • Thank You for telling me my mistake here. If you did not tell me, I would never know. I guess...one learns a new thing every day. Thanks for your help and kind advice. Best Regards Christian, --Leoboudv (talk) 12:14, 18 May 2024 (UTC)

  • Dear Christian,

I uploaded just 2 images below:

Was there a reason why you were able to review other Mushroom Observer (MO) images in 2019 like this photo ? Were you previously registered in Mushroom Observer but perhaps forgot your log in code. Its just that there are many good free images in MO but someone has to review them and I cannot review my own uploaded images. Unfortunately, there is no Mushroom Observer bot to review such images unlike the inaturalist bot. Best Regards, --Leoboudv (talk) 02:22, 15 June 2024 (UTC)

  • As far I remember I never registered in Mushroom Observer, I think they have changed and have put some kind of restriction. But no problem, I just created an account there and I was abble to verify the licenses. Your images are now reviewed. Christian Ferrer (talk) 06:46, 15 June 2024 (UTC)
  •   Comment: Thanks for your kind help. I did register into the MO website and saved my username and password on two separate pieces of paper...where I keep my other passwords for banking, for Google mail, etc. If I lose these paper records, I will be in big trouble. As an aside, I reviewed some other persons 50 MO iamges today like these one, two and three examples. I remember the uploader--Josef Papi. Best, --Leoboudv (talk) 08:44, 15 June 2024 (UTC)

Dear Christian,

Please kindly review this fungi image. It is one of the most dangerous mushrooms in the world....but there is no free image of it until now. Best, --Leoboudv (talk) 12:00, 18 June 2024 (UTC)

4 Mushroom Observer images

Dear Christian,

Please kindly review these 4 images. The last image is a rare CC0 US Forest Service photo.

PS: If you wish, you can read my comments here to MGA73 about life in Canada. Canada is today struggling with major inflation, a housing crisis, a health crisis with a doctors shortage, etc. Many people spend more than 50% of their income on rent just to to live in Canada. Best, Fabian B or user --Leoboudv (talk) 23:43, 21 June 2024 (UTC)

  •   Done I sympathize with you, in France too it's sometimes not easy. It also happens that children and parents are forced to stay under the same home due to lack of financial means, but this is certainly the case in many countries. I grew up in a caravan until the age of 16, and when I was very young there were even 5 of us living in the same caravan. Now I own an apartment, very well located, of around thirty square meters, that I was lucky enough to have as a donation from one of my grandparents. Most of my work colleagues are tenants, and the lowest rents represent at least a third of the minimum legal wage. I will most likely be forced to give up my current job, because I have lifted heavy loads all my life, and I have back pain, it causes very unpleasant sciatica. I don't know yet what I'm going to do after leaving this job I've done all my life, but fortunately I have good savings, maybe I'll even travel a little. Christian Ferrer (talk) 04:24, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
  •   Comment: I am happy for you that you own an apartment and have good savings. As for me, I did not earn any high paying jobs but I always made sure to pay off my credit card balance in full since the interest rate on a VISA or Mastercard balance is 19.99% and many people find themselves declaring bankruptcy soon. I am fortunate to live with my older father who owns his home. But the real issue is that I am an introvert. In 1990, a high school teacher told me a lesson I never forget. He said. "Its not what you know. Its who you know....that helps you find success in life" I am not a person who wines and dines people but I fully sympathise with your sciatica. I suffer from severe tinnitus in my left ear and cannot tolerate loud noise environments like music clubs...so it is harder to make friends. Best, --Leoboudv (talk) 08:38, 22 June 2024 (UTC)

6 Images and 2 possible image deletions

Dear Christian,

Please review these images when you can.

Commons does not have 3 of these species. Secondly, these 2 Mushroom Observer DRs Here and Here can be deleted and replaced by my suggested replacement images. But this is up to you to decide here. I think this will be the last of my uploads from Mushroom Observer for some time. Thanks for all your help, --Leoboudv (talk) 11:35, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
