A file that you have uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, File:Uttamarambho Bhikkhu.jpg, is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such works would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a map that has been altered from the original. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.

Please edit the file description and add the missing information, or the file may be deleted. If you created the original content yourself, enter this information as the source. If someone else created the content, the source should be the address to the web page where you found it, the name and ISBN of the book you scanned it from, or similar. You should also name the author, provide verifiable information to show that the content is in the public domain or has been published under a free license by its author, and add an appropriate template identifying the public domain or licensing status, if you have not already done so. Please add the required information for this and other files you have uploaded before adding more files. If you need assistance, please ask at the help desk. Thank you!

Thanks for uploading File:MDGs Burmese language.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the No permission since tag with on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded (:File:MDGs Burmese language.jpg) and the above demanded information in your request.

File copyright status edit

Welcome to Wikimedia Commons. While everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the project, one or more of your file uploads had missing or false information regarding its source and copyright status. Please note that Wikimedia Commons takes copyright rules and infringement very seriously. Files may only be uploaded and included if their copyright status meets the conditions stated in our licensing policy, and if their provenance is clearly documented. Files that fail to meet those conditions may be deleted, and users who fail to meet them may be blocked. Please follow our first steps, if you haven't already. If you have questions, feel free to ask at the Village Pump copyright question page or on my talk page. Thank you. NinjaStrikers «» 06:24, 19 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

File:Abbot Dr.Bhaddanta Zavana.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Hello 咽頭べさ, the following content you uploaded violates one or more of our policies and therefore has been or will soon be deleted:

File:Luangpho Uttama Mon people Monk.jpg

The Wikimedia Commons (this website) only hosts media files with a realistic educational purpose and that can be used for any purpose, including:
 • use in any work, regardless of content
 • creation of derivative works
 • commercial use
 • free distribution

See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons, and Commons:Image casebook for some specific examples. Some other Wikimedia projects have different licensing policies. For example, the English Wikipedia allows fair use of sounds and photographs. This is not the case on Wikimedia Commons; "fair use" materials are not acceptable here.

Please make sure that you only upload educational content you have created yourself, those which are out of copyright, or those for which you have the required permission for the work to be used in all the ways described above. Please note that derivative works of copyrighted material are also considered copyrighted. Again, please read through Commons:Licensing, which is quite crucial, to understanding how Wikimedia Commons works. Thanks for your contribution, and please do leave me a message if you have further questions.

Yours sincerely, - FitIndia Talk 12:39, 21 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

This file may be deleted.
A file that you have uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, File:Mon Buddhism.gif, is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image".

Thank you!

Thanks for uploading File:Tanizaki Saya 2019.jpg.

Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded (:File:Tanizaki Saya 2019.jpg) and the above demanded information in your request.

@咽頭べさ Why don't you talk directly to Ninjastrikers? --Eryk Kij (talk) 09:43, 3 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
(1)QQ Music App is a non-free app and screenshot of the app is not your own work even you take a screenshot from your own phone.
(2)Accroding to metadata, File:The Chant of Metta en.ogg and File:The Chant of Metta zh.ogg are copyrighted works of Imee Ooi. An OTRS agent has been replied about this on the ticket. You can check your mail.
(3)You indicated the source of File:Mon National Day.ogg to here during uploading the file, and thus I tagged the files as no permission.
(4)Two of NMB48 photos included (c)NMB48 watermarked and external sources, thus why no permission had been tagged.
(5)MDG icons are copyrighted work of UN. You can see at the deletion note.
(6) see at Commons:Deletion requests/File:Abbot Dr.Bhaddanta Zavana.jpg
(7) The book cover is the copyrighted work by the publisher. Please see File:Licensing tutorial my.svg.
Please read COM:Licensing before uploading another file. And you can read why your uploads were tagged as no permission/copyrighted on your talk page. Thank you. NinjaStrikers «» 10:41, 3 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

In 2017 the problem, I was not good at technology, I was fired from NMB48 Thailand. However I loved NMB48 music group when I was young now, I am an assistant, BNK48 Thailand however, I did not forget the NMB48 music group right now I am trying to write all NMB48 singer profiles because NMB48 has saved my life a lot the first job I had was to translate just that language. This one is a song I translated it myself for BNK48 this song used to try Idol Thailand this song will be Japanese. Translation time for this song is very difficult because the singer is Japanese and he cannot speak Thai must teach him the language too. There are many songs that I have translated in Thailand but being a translator, I didn't get much profit actually, I translate for free.Reply

This file may be deleted.
A file that you have uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, File:Yūka Kato or Yuuka Kato.jpg, is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image".

Thank you!

Hello@SCP-2000: Associated with that file, my opinion is that I do not have the right to talk. Because it was my own file, it was also deleted, it's the file itself, it doesn't have permission. The file is actually only shared for Wikipedia in other languages. I comment that file, required for Wikipedia in other languages. Associated with that file I think it should I have no right to talk. The size is the file of the production itself, the Admin will delete it, not allowing me to use. The admin replied that the evidence is unclear and the files that I produced from myself were deleted by Admin. I have a problem like this and I think it's all related to this file, I don't have the right to talk, all related to this file, I dare not give some answers, then I am afraid Admin. If I keep saying that, the admin will say I harassments. Associated with that file you thinks it needs to be deleted and I don't have permission to answer for that file. A large part of the intellectual property of this image lies in the font. In my opinion, you should acknowledge the font and link to its licence. RichardW57 (talk) 09:06, 11 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello@RichardW57: , Who do I go to get a font license, this font I have been using for more than 15 years, I do not know the manufacturer of this font. The picture is for helping to see the letter, Tai Tham font doesn't have Unicode permission this problem is that Unicode font users can't see the letter font like Zawgyi font, take a look at an example in this link Pali nouns in Tai Tham script thank you very much.
With luck, the licence may be included in or referenced from the 'name' table - I am assuming it is a TrueType or OpenType font. If you don't have font manipulation tools, you may be able to read it by opening the font file as a text file in UTF-16BE encoding. If you don't have a licence for the font, you shouldn't be using it - not even in Thailand. The licence might simply say 'free for non-commercial use'.
I have several Tai Tham fonts, and the text mostly renders well in Kottabun or the Tai Khuen fonts. --RichardW57 (talk) 20:21, 18 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

I'm too busy to improve Mon Wiktionary, I'm the only one who currently writes many translation dictionary articles on Mon Wiktionary, so I recorded at Lingualibre when I was off work, no one on the wiki project, including Lingualibre, gave me instructions on how to use it, so it is not uncommon for me to make errors. I'm striving to be the best of all wiki projects, I'm not abusing the wiki project, I do not understand why some admins on the wiki project treat me like a prisoner, I was hurt in that regard, no matter how some admins in the wiki project upset me, I will continue to work on the Mon language. Before I die, I will continue to work on Mon literature for future Mon youth, Mon language is my second mother, so I love it very much, thanks. 咽頭べさ (talk) 04:26, 23 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

This file may be deleted.
A file that you have uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, File:Wall painting in world war ii jeath war museum5.jpg, is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image".

Thank you!

Hello 咽頭べさ. I noticed that you posted a message at Commons:Undeletion requests regarding these files. None of them have been deleted yet, so let me try to help you here on this page. Please note that all those paintings you photographed have a copyright of their own, so you cannot publish your derivative photos without permission from the original artists. So, what we need to know is who created the paintings and what is their copyright status? Are they perhaps old enough to be out of copyright? I think not because the style looks very modern and copyright terms are usually granted for the lifetime of the painter plus several decades past their death. So unless you can provide evidence that the paintings themselves are not copyrighted or come with a free licence, we will have to delete the files. De728631 (talk) 11:47, 21 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi@De728631: , I think these paintings are not copyrighted because the staff of the world war ii jeath war museum says that they can take pictures for free. I took pictures of the contents of the world war ii jeath war museum with the permission of the staff of the world war ii jeath war museum. World War II jeath war museum Video recordings of conversations with staff, should I send you this file as evidence? I saw these paintings when I was a student, so I thought they were 70 years old, I would like to use these paintings for an article on the Thai-Japanese war, these paintings were donated to Wiki for use in the Thai-Japanese war article, the Thai-Japanese War article may not be important to some, but it is very important to the people of Thailand and the people of Burma, please tell me more about the requirements for this painting file, thanks.--咽頭べさ (talk) 15:08, 21 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Taking pictures free of charge does not mean that you may freely licence them for anybody else to use. To restore the images we need a permission by email from the original artist or from the museum staff. De728631 (talk) 15:11, 21 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
i@De728631: okay, please give me the email address to send for this file, tomorrow I will go to the war ii jeath war museum staff for this file and ask for permission, thanks.--咽頭べさ (talk) 15:24, 21 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
Please see COM:VRT. The email adress can be found there. But note also that permission like "for Wikipedia only" are not sufficient. All uploads here need to be free for anyone to reuse for any purpose, so that includes commercial reuse of the images. De728631 (talk) 15:28, 21 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
@De728631: okay,Tomorrow I will meet with the administrator of war ii jeath war museum for this file, if they do not allow it, it is my destiny, give me 2 days for this file, do not delete this file now, so I would be very upset if you deleted this file now, all my work on the Wiki project is to help, I do not intend to violate the rules of the Wiki, thanks.--咽頭べさ (talk) 15:50, 21 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
Don't worry, the files are now subject to a deletion discussion (see also below) which will usually be open for at least a week. De728631 (talk) 15:55, 21 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hi :@De728631: , If you want to delete this file now, you can, so the file was discussed with the staff of the world war ii jeath war museum, but the copyright holder of the painting is not yet able to use the internet and it is not possible to request permission, he later contacted his daughter, who uses the internet, but she could not get permission because she was in the hospital. I'm very upset that my efforts failed, thanks.--咽頭べさ (talk) 13:26, 23 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
That is unfortunate, but thank you for your efforts. I will mention your answer in the deletion discussion and another administrator will then decide what to do with those files. De728631 (talk) 14:12, 23 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading File:Have no injustice revolution logo.png.

Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded (:File:Have no injustice revolution logo.png) and the above demanded information in your request.
