danke für die Blumen. Die Audio-Qualität läßt wirklich noch viel Raum nach oben: Übersteuern, Zischen, Poppen, Mikro-Rauschen, Nebengeräusche, alles dabei. Das ist etwas, was mich zwar betrübt, was ich aber z.Zt. nicht ändern kann. Aber ich denke, besser auch in einer so mäßigen Hör-Qualität, als gar nicht. --Jeuwre (talk)

Das liegt an der Technik: eine Logitech C270 Webcam im Wert von € 23,-- :-) (lag hier rum). Zum Schneiden Audacity, dass tut's und ist kostenfrei. Traum: ein USB-Kondensator-Mikro, z.B. ein Rode NT-USB oder ähnlich, einfach in der Handhabung, und der Klang könnte, wenn man den 'Rezensionen' eines großen Versandhändlers Glauben schenken mag, akzeptabel sein. Will ich mir z.Zt. nicht leisten, dass wäre fast das nächste halbe Fahrrad für meinen Sohn und der geht vor. Na ja, ich mache ja keine Beiträge zur gesprochenen Wikipedia, das geht mit dem Mikro einfach nicht. Hallo Derbeth, die Datei File:De-Schmetterling-.ogg ist die Gültige! Bei der anderen habe ich überbetont, ein hartes 'k' am Ende ist nicht korrekt bei einer Endung auf 'ung'.
Die beiden Dateien habe ich ganz am Anfang meiner Zeit bei wiktionary eingesprochen, als ich noch nicht wußte, wie man Dateien auf commons korrigiert/erneut hochlädt. --Jeuwre (talk) 20:58, 12 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Eigentlich es wäre besser und einfacher, wenn Du die neueste Datei aus "Schmetterling-" als eine neue Version von "Schmetterling" hochlüdest. Dann könnten wir überall "Schmetterling-" durch "Schmetterling" ersetzen und endlich "Schmetterling-" entfernen. --Derbeth talk 07:36, 13 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
Ich habe 'Schmetterling' eben neu eingesprochen und hochgeladen unter De-Schmetterling.ogg. De-Schmetterling-.ogg kann gelöscht werden, wenn ich die Verknüpfung im deutschen wiktionary-Eintrag Schmetterling geändert habe. Mache ich nachher. Das war ja eine Korrektur. Welche Worte kann Dein Bot verknüpfen? In einer kurzen Stichprobe der von mir auf commons hochgeladenen Worte habe ich im deutschen Wiktionary nur einen verknüpften Beitrag (besonders) gefunden. Einige andere Hochgeladene nicht: Substantive (Leichtmetall, Medaille, Platin), Adjektive (betrunken), Verben (absolvieren). Kategorie für Sprachbeispiele nach Themen edit

Hallo Jeuwre,

ich wollte dich kurz auf diese Kategorie hinweisen. Die Kategoriestruktur ist noch sehr klein und ausbaufähig, aber deine Audio-Dateien könnten auch dort den jeweiligen (bereits oder noch nicht existierenden) Unterkategorien zugeordnet werden. Es wäre dann möglich auch themenorientiert nach Sprachbeispielen zu suchen.

Hallo Nicor, eigentlich müsste man das durchstrukturieren: ich hätte drei Themen, nach denen ich differenzieren würde: 1.) Thema/Fachgebiet, 2.) Herkunft 3.) Wortart. Das würde zu (vorerst) folgenden Gruppen führen:

(Kein Anspruch auf Vollständigkeit, insbesondere bei den Themen/Fachgebieten.) Wäre Dir das Recht? Keineswegs trennscharf (bis auf 3.), aber im Moment verträgt es schon noch ein paar mehr Gruppierungen. Jemand müsste die Gruppen aufmachen und in die bestehenden einsortieren. Ich würde meine Aussprachebeispiele ab sofort beim Hochladen pflegen. Dabei würde mindestens 3. immer als Gruppe hinzukommen. Aber was machen wir mit den bestehenden Aussprache-Beispielen, die sollten wohl auch einsortiert werden, oder? Das sind zu viele für Handarbeit.

Hallo Nicor,
ich habe gestern abend annähernd 1.200 Hörbsp. hochgeladen. Ich hatte nachmittags begonnen und nach der Zuordnung der 3. Kategorie aller Beispiele und dem versuchsweisen Zuordnen zu nur einem (!) Fachthema ("German pronunciation of medical and related terms") war der ganze Abend weg. Ganz ehrlich, das ist mir zuviel (Hand-)Arbeit. Kann das bei ernsthaftem Bedarf nicht über Bots weitgehend automatisiert werden? Viele der oben benannten Daten sind im deutschen Wiktionary bereits hinterlegt, wenn auch nicht durch Kategorisierung. das kann ich natürlich gut verstehen dass dir das alles etwas zu viel Aufwand bedeutet. Trotzdem vielen Dank für den Aufschlag. Wenn erst einmal ein Kategoriebaum dafür existiert, werden die einzelnen Dateien schon nach und nach dort hinein wandern. Ich würde sicherlich immer mal wieder welche dort einordnen. Sollte die bereits angelegte Kategorie allerdings nicht besser verschoben werden nach Category:German pronunciation of words relating to medicine, analog zu den bereits existierenden Kategorien in der Category:Pronunciation by subject? Es gibt auch bereits die Category:Pronunciation of words relating to medicine für alle Sprachen. Mit dem Tool cat-a-lot ginge das automatisch. Das ist großartig bei den nicht mehr ganz wenig Beispielen .... Wenn Du Verzeichnisse deutscher Lemmata, von denen allerdings keineswegs jedes ein Hörbeispiel hat, benötigst mit Zuordnungen zu Fachgebieten, die findest Du im Deutschen Wiktionary hier.

Das wäre doch prima. Die Kategorien für die Einteilung nach Grammatik (nouns, verbs, ...) müsste noch erstellt werden. Dann wären zumindest die 1.200 schon mal einsortiert. Magst Du das machen?

Rechtschreibfehler projezieren -> projizieren edit

Hi, ich vermute, dass sich bei der Datei File:De-projezieren.ogg ein Rechtschreibfehler eingeschlichen hat (und damit gewissermaßen auch ein Aussprachefehler): Im Duden ist "projezieren" nicht verzeichnet, "projizieren" wird anders ausgesprochen. Hi Lo Ximiendo,
Rectifications:
De-Spielzeug.ogg and De-Kind.ogg are imho fine pronunciations, especially because the first one is spoken by a child (the subject of 'Spielzeug' is a childish one). I suppose to produce De-Spielzeug2.ogg and De-Kind2.ogg attaching a figure as I do, when an existing example could be improved, but isn't as bad it should be erased. Or more simple, when there are two pronunciation possibilities in fact. O.k., I won't pronounce it quite differently, but sound quality isn't here the best.
De-erzielte.oga needs urgent improvement, I agree, new upload follows.
Of course I'm willing to support you with the other words. I ask only for some patience, because I'm able to record, cut and upload in a week at the earliest.

für Fälle wie eins weiter oben braucht es eigentlich kein offizielles Löschverfahren, das wäre ein Schnelllöschkandidat nach Commons:Löschrichtlinien#Schnelllöschverfahren. Also einfach die Vorlage "speedydelete" auf die Seite setzen.

Hallo Holger1959, hab's neu eingesprochen. Allerdings habe ich durch Zufall gestern in den Verkehrsnachrichten meine ursprüngliche Aussprache gehört. Leider sagt das Aussprachewörterbuch De Gryter nichts dazu. Allerdings folgen alle ähnlich geschriebenen Orte meiner ersten Aussprache und dem Hörfunksprecher gestern: Grevelingen, Grevenbroich, Grevesmühlen, d.h. phonetisch alle mit IPA: [v] (wie in Winter /[ˈvɪntɐ]/, Vase /[ˈvaːzə]/, etc.). Kannst Du Deinen Aussprachevorschlag irgendwie belegen? Möglichkeiten wären: A) anderes Aussprachewörterbuch, B) Beispiel in nachvollziehbarem (= Internet/Youtube) Rundfunk-/Fernsehbeitrag, in dem der Ort ausgesprochen wird. Hallo Jeuwre, danke, klingt jetzt korrekt! Mit Aussprachewörterbüchern kann ich nicht dienen, aber du kannst das gut hören zB bei [1] (Gevelsberger Bürgermeister Jacobi, mehrfach am Anfang) oder auch bei radioenneperuhr.de (Lokalradio, wenns denn Gevelsberger Nachrichten gibt). Vor Ort in Gevelsberg wird der Stadtname halt mit f ausgesprochen, nur Zugereiste/Ortsfremde (wie zB Leute vom WDR) sprechens manchmal anders aus. Der Unterschied v/f ist natürlich nicht so riesig, das fällt weniger auf als beim benachbarten Bochum, wo man sich über die "falsche" Aussprache mit kurzem o ärgert (und da gibts auch noch ein Laer, das sich anders ausspricht als Laer). Bei Ortsnamen kommts glaub ich immer drauf an woher jemand kommt und "möglich" sind wohl öfters mehrere Aussprachen. Hab aber leider keinen Überblick der Regeln, was für Wikipedia/Wiktionary als "richtig" gilt. Bei echten Dialekten ist die Trennung sicher einfacher (zB. Konschdanz/Konstanz), da stellt sich die Frage falsch/richtig nicht so. Da fällt mir ein, Gereon_K. kann die Aussprache sicher auch bestätigen. Holger1959 (talk) 09:34, 19 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
Ich wohne ca. 2 Kilometer von der Gevelsberger Stadtgrenze entfernt und habe schon beides gehört. Ich selber spreche es Gewelsberg aus und nicht Gefelsberg. Ich würde mich in diesem Fall aber an Wolfgang Jacobi orientieren, also Aussprache wie 'f'. Bei Radio EN sprechen nicht nur Gevelsberger, sondern hauptsächlich Hagener und Ennepetaler. --Gereon K. Was ich noch mache: Ich kopiere diesen Beitrag hier bei Gelegenheit in die Diskussion von [2], damit dort jeder nachvollziehen kann, was hier an Erkenntnissen benannt wurde. Wenn dort jemand unbedingt der Meinung ist, das entspräche nicht der Wirklichkeit, dann kann er ggf. Belege dafür bringen. gut, daß wir das hier nicht so verbissen sehen. ging mir ja nur um die vor Ort übliche Aussprache. Auch Bochum hört man ab und zu mit mehr oder wneiger kurzem u, trotzdem wird die übliche Aussprache mit langem u angegeben. Und ich bins eh gewohnt, mir ständig Witze übers Wetter anzuhören und finds nicht schlimm. "schiefgehen" edit

Hello Jeuwre. I'm English, so this may be nonsense, but I am very puzzled by the pronunciation example for 'schiefgehen'. To me it sounds like 'scheifgehen'. The IPA pronunciation listed looks what I would expect. There is another sound file lower down the page, in a different voice, for a phrase including 'schiefgehen', which sounds as I would expect. Could you please check - at least the two sound files should use the same pronunciation. Thanks. Addendum: There is a weird inconsistency in the pronunciation you can get for this word. To hear the one that worries me, go to the Wiktionary page for 'schiefgehen' and click on the word in the pronunciation example. If you click on the 'info' link, you get a page about the file 'De-schiefgehen.ogg', which can give you two different pronunciations; click on the 'play' button and it comes out correct, click on the name 'De-schiefgehen.ogg' and you get the one I am questioning. By the way, I was wrong about the example for 'wird schon schiefgehen', which is clearly also in your voice - sorry. I'm sorry to say that I can't see your point. I think you consider the usage on German Wiktionary ([3]). If I click on the sound-buttons there or on commons ([4]), I cannot hear any difference. And that's what I'd expect because the source for all Wiktionaries is usually Commons. Listening again very carefully to the pronunciation (no matter where) it sounds correctly.
Anyway, years ago I had a similar problem. Please empty your cache in your browser and see if it changes the pronunciation. In my case it solved the issue. Hope that helps. --Jeuwre (talk) 08:21, 9 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
Hello Jeuwre. It gets more mysterious. I have emptied my browser cache, but it still sounds exactly the same. However, I think you are right that it is some sort of cache effect. I tried on another machine, which I had never previously used to consult Wiktionary, and it all sounds correct whichever button I select. So I can leave you in peace, being sure that everything is OK. My only question, for myself, is how to persuade Firefox on my main machine to forget the erroneous version.

Cache erasing helped in my case. Unfortunately I've no idea what else you can do in yours except for changing your browser (not seriously: Firefox is quite o.k.) or reinstalling Firefox. Sorry.

Weird issue with chain of audio files uploaded in the wrong name edit

I came upon a weird chain of audio files that you uploaded with the wrong names. File:De-Vorstellung.ogg -> File:De-Abelmoschus.ogg -> File:De-Dauerware.ogg -> File:De-Kapernsoße.ogg -> File:De-Leckmuschel.ogg -> ... The list goes on. It might not even begin at "Vorstellung".

Hallo Sicherlich, nun, Homophone werden, zumindest in der deutschen Wiktionary, getrennt eingesprochen. Damit haben wir dann De-Gießen.ogg und De-gießen.ogg. Geht es nicht nur. Wir reden ja nicht nur über das deutsche Wiktionary, sondern über alle Wikis der Wikipedia-Gemeinschaft. Wie soll die jeweilige Datei aus Commons dahin verlinkt werden mit Hilfe von Bots, wenn nicht über korrekte Rechtschreibung? Wie kann ein Nichtmuttersprachler auch bei händischer Verknüpfung sicher sein, dass es identisch ausgesprochen wird? Wir haben für Hörbeispiele (leider) keine Organisation in Datenbanken, dann wären Dein Gedanke und damit Homophone leicht abbildbar.

Wenn Du wissen willst wofür es eingesprochen wurde musst Du entweder den Sprecher fragen oder in die Versionsgeschichte befragen. Ja. Denn ob der Sprecher "Gießen" oder "gießen" sagt kannst Du ja kaum hören.
Neu hochladen: Du veralberst mich oder? Zum einen wurde die Datei, aus welchen Gründen auch immer, in die Endung .oga umgetauft, es gäbe diesen Konflikt also nicht und zum anderen könnte man sie durchaus auch De-Gießen-2.ogg o.ä. nennen - oder ist das im Wiktionary (ups, mer san auf Commons!?) nicht üblich? Es darf nur eine geben und fertig?

Du kannst hier hochladen, was Du willst, mir persönlich ist das gleich (anderen Commons-Usern/Admins wahrscheinlich schon nicht mehr). Die Verlinkung ins deutsche Wiktionary, die interssiert mich. Da gibt es Regeln, an die Du Dich zu halten hast, auch wenn die Datei auf Commons geladen wurde. Ist doch ganz einfach. Zurück zum Ursprung dieses Austausches: nun ist es kein Toponym in Hessen mehr? Da ich selber derjenige war, der die Category:German pronunciation of toponyms of Hesse mal erzeugt habe (wie vieler anderer Kategorien auch), erlaube ich mir, dort die deutschen Rechtschreibregeln anzuwenden. Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, damit in Übereinstimmung mit den Admins auf Commons zu handeln, schließlich habe ich schon einige meiner von mir selber produzierten Hörbeispiele wegen Rechtschreibfehlern umbenennen lassen. Jeder, der die Kategorie aufmacht, muss sich nicht verwirren lassen von einer falschen Rechtschreibung und sich fragen, was ein Verb in dieser Kategorie zu suchen hat. Deshalb bitte ich Dich, Dein Undo meines Edits auf De-gießen.oga wieder herauszunehmen. Gerne kannst Du alternativ, wenn es Dir wichtig ist und Dein Hörbeispiel für die Stadt gelten soll, für dieses einen Rename-Antrag stellen, z.B. De-Gießen2.oga oder so ähnlich. Ich bin mir auch ziemlich sicher, dass ich "in Übereinstimmung mit den Admins auf Commons" - und noch viel mehr mit den Richtlinien von Commons. Die sind nämlich das relevante. Gegen keine der selbigen wurde verstoßen.

Habe ich nie behauptet. Ich wollte nur sagen, dass ich mir beim Anlegen der Kategorie Gedanken gemacht habe darüber, was da wohl reingehört. Und zu meinen Gedanken gehörte auch: keine Rechtschreibfehler (was eine Selbstverständlichkeit sein sollte).

Beim Rename-Antrag ist die Begründung 3: Missspelling, siehe Help:Rename. Also auch Commons sieht die Beseitigung von Rechtschreibfehlern vor. Wenn Du darauf bestehst, dass dein Hörbeispiel in der Kategorie bleibt, dann ist das ein klarer Rechtschreibfehler. rein gehören offensichtich Dateien zur Aussprache von Toponymen. Das ist gegeben. Ein Rechtschreibfehler liegt nicht vor: zur selben aussprache gehören nunmal zwei Schreibweisen. Doof für die Schönheit, ist aber so. Für die Schönheit solche Dateien doppelt hochzuladen ist wohl nicht vorgesehen, weil es wohl eher in Richtung absurd geht. Ein Rename-Antrag von Dir wird also nicht erfolgreich sein. Aber Du kannst es ja probieren. Speziell die Datei wurde für die Optik schon so oft hin und hergeschoben; da machen ein paar mehr Verschiebungen keinen Unterschied. Deine Aussprache des Sprachbeispiels für das Eichsfeld ist nicht ganz korrekt. Ein Aussprachebeispiel findest Du im Artikel Eichsfeld. Auch wenn die Wortherkunft des Landstriches von der "Eiche" abgeleitet sein könnte, wird das "ch" als "k" ausgesprochen, ich bin aber kein Sprachwissenschaftler (genaue Verwendung der Lautschriftzeichen) und kenne auch nicht die Regelungen für deren Anwendung der Sprachbeispiele hier auf WP. Hi, warum sprichst du das øzoˈfaːɡʊs und øzoˈfaːɡi aus, wo doch in wikt:Ösophagi und wikt:Ösophagi ganz klar øˈzoːfaɡʊs und øˈzoːfaɡi steht? Bei den Hörbeispielen zu den Stadteilen Hamburgs fällt mir auf, dass die zweite Silbe betont wird, so z.B. EimsBÜTTEL. Ein Hamburger würde aber EIMSbüttel sagen, denn Büttel gibt's ja viele. Man spricht ja auch nicht von ReinickenDORF. Hallo! It seems that the audio files you recorded on 22 December 2019 have sound in the left channel only. File:De-Importgenehmigung.ogg through File:De-scheinst wider.ogg are affected (with files before File:De-immunstes.ogg or after File:De-Naturen2.ogg not affected). There are 4573 affected files (wow): [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] [13] [14]. Hello Pokechu22, thank you for your information. I'm quite baffled, because I usually record pronunciation files (with Audacity) in mono sound quality. But you're right, I hear only the left channel too. At the moment I don't know what we can do: It would be quite troublesome to reupload/overwrite all affected files manually and would last days to complete. Do you have a notion, what we can do to overwrite with the help of software? Additionally I have to record the files again, because when I speak in front of the microphone I do it in a (more or less) random order. I only sort the files for upload when using vicuna-uploader. Oh, I've an idea, how I can create the files on my computer: the command 'sox "De-scheinst wider.ogg" "De-scheinst wider_new.ogg" remix 1,2' produces a mono file. I could edit a bash script including a loop over the affected filenames with the just mentioned command and I'll get it. One week of work saved up. @Kim117, Korrektur:   Done. Ich bin selber überrascht, dass die deutsche Wikipedia nicht existente Audiodateien (bzw. hier: falsch geschriebene) ohne irgend einen Hinweis zulässt. Da ist die englische Wikipedia weiter: die weist darauf hin, wenn man Mist verknüpfen will (wie ich in diesem Fall in der deutschen Wikipedia). danke für die Datei. Du sprichst den Namen der Stadt aber leider falsch aus, denn die Betonung liegt auf der zweiten Silbe, nicht wie von dir gesprochen auf der ersten. Ein paar Beispiele von Youtube, damit du mir das nicht unbesehen glauben musst: [15], [16], [17], [18], [19].

Kannst du bitte eine korrigierte Version der Datei hochladen, bevor sich die falsche Aussprache durch Verlinkung auf Wiktionary oder sonstwo fesetzt? Das wäre schön. Großwechsungen edit

Hallo Jeuwre, ich wollte mal fragen ob du ein Aussprachebeispiel für den Ort Großwechsungen anfertigen könntest. Hin und wieder hört man (Radio, TV) die lokal völlig unübliche Aussprache mit "ch". Tatsächlich ist es aber als "weksungen" mit "k" in Nordthüringen bekannt (wie beim oben diskutierten Eichsfeld). Eventuell werden die "Falschsprecher" dann weniger ;). Eventuell könntest du den Ortsnamen noch in IPA Zeichen darstellen, mit dem Thema bin ich nicht vertraut. Ich würde mich sehr freuen. Hallo Biggerj1, ich höre bei ihm [bɛɪ̯s] (mit scharfem 's'), allerdings ist das nicht eindeutig, weil die Tonqualität schlecht ist (Hall). Wenn man auf Youtube ihn hört (Deutsch) oder ganz deutlich ihn hört (English), dann sprechen beide [bɛɪ̯z] (mit weichem 's'). Was ist korrekt? Leider gibt es dort keine Quelle, was jetzt nicht so ungewöhnlich ist, Aussprachewörterbücher führen i. d. R. keine Nachnamen (bis auf die allerwichtigsten, wie Lehmann, Meier, Schulze), so auch bei Bayes: weder Krech, Stock, Hirschfeld noch Max Mangold (Duden) noch Duden online haben den Namen. Nach den Regeln bei Wiktionary braucht man dann fünf Beispiele, hier Tonbeispiele, aus seriösen Quellen, um es 'Wiktionary-fest' zu machen. Youtube ist keine (!) seriöse Quelle, dann müssen schon große Anzahlen an gleichen Einsprachen einen Hinweis auf die Aussprache geben. Mit weichem 's' gibt es (nach wenigen Sekunden):

Wie gesagt, Youtube ist keine seriöse Quelle. Die original englische Aussprache mit weichem 's' scheint mir mindestens bedenkenswert (und damit die Sprecher mit hartem 's' auf Youtube zumindest schludrig, was die Aussprache angeht). Aussprachen auf öffentlich rechtlichen Sendern (br.de, ndr.de, dlf.de, ...) mit sprechgeschulten Journalisten habe ich leider nicht gefunden. Man könnte ja denken, Schulfernsehen, wie es früher vom BR ausgestrahlt wurde, müsste Bayes-Regel, Satz von Bayes oder ähnliches haben. Ich habe es nicht ergoogeln können. Wenn ich schon mal dabei bin: wie sieht es aus mit den Einsprachen für Bayes-Spiel, Bayes-Schätzer, Bayes-Klassifikator, hättest Du die auch gerne oder ist das irrelevant?
