They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content). You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki. More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). File:C.Berlié.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.
If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons, and Commons:Image casebook for some specific examples. Some other Wikimedia projects have different licensing policies. For example, the English Wikipedia allows fair use of sounds and photographs. This is not the case on Wikimedia Commons; "fair use" materials are not acceptable here.
Please make sure that you only upload educational content you have created yourself, those which are out of copyright, or those for which you have the required permission for the work to be used in all the ways described above. Please note that derivative works of copyrighted material are also considered copyrighted. Again, please read through Commons:Licensing, which is quite crucial, to understanding how Wikimedia Commons works. Thanks for your contribution, and please do leave me a message if you have further questions. And also File:Mitjet 2L - 2015 Le Mans.jpg

File:Final turn Magny-cours by Clément Berlié.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.) Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Copyright violations
edit
Hello Rédacteur31.
You have uploaded one or more files that are copyright violations. You have done so despite requests from editors not to do so, and despite their instructions. See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules by subject matter useful. This is your last warning. The next time you upload a file that violates copyright, you will be blocked. Please leave me a message if you have further questions. |

Thanks for uploading File:Clément Berlié.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). Warning: unless the permission information is given, the file may be deleted after seven days. Thank you. |

Rédacteur31 (talk) 14:50, 25 August 2018 (UTC)
- If you are Clément Berlié, please contact permissions-fr wikimedia.org to confirm. In this case your images will be restored and your account probably unblocked. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 16:22, 25 August 2018 (UTC)
— Preceding unsigned comment added by Rédacteur31 (talk • contribs) 18:05, 25 August 2018 (UTC)
You have been blocked for a duration of 3 months
editYou have been blocked from editing Commons for a duration of 3 months for the following reason: continue to upload unfree files after warnings..
If you wish to make useful contributions, you may do so after the block expires. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may add {{unblock|(enter your reason here) ~~~~}} below this message explaining clearly why you should be unblocked. See also the block log. For more information, see Appealing a block.
|
If you wish to appeal this block please place {{unblock|<reason>}} below this message replacing <reason> with why you think you should be unblocked. Please note, you must explain that you understand why you were blocked and why the images you uploaded were not acceptable. Please see COM:Licensing for more information and please read COM:BLOCK#Appealing a block before requesting an unblock.
I tried to give you an opportunity to work with us but you went ahead and uploaded another file that had to be deleted. This is just causing more work for everyone and cannot be accepted. It doesn't matter if it was taken with your phone. The copyright belongs to the photographer. Not you. And continuing to upload the file over and over again without stopping and asking for assistance is not ok. Considering your last block was 1 month long and you didn't get it this time it is longer. You can appeal if you want to but you must show that you understand what I am talking about. I'm not that good at French to be confident in my ability to translate 100% correctly so perhaps Yann can help me out at that. --Majora (talk) 15:28, 25 August 2018 (UTC)
Cordialement, Yann (talk) 17:01, 25 August 2018 (UTC)
In light of recent conversations on OTRS and by request from Yann I have unblocked you as the block doesn't seem necessary to protect Commons anymore. Please note, there is a level of decorum that is expected here. Repeatedly reuploading images after they were deleted is never acceptable. There are channels that can be followed to get an image restored including using the OTRS system to confirm permissions. While the current block was no longer deemed necessary that does not mean you can, or should, continue to reupload things without going through the proper methods. If you require assistance there are plenty of people at the help desk that would be happy to help you in the future. --Majora (talk) 21:24, 28 August 2018 (UTC)
