澳門(收聽:普通話讀音、廣東話發音、葡萄牙語發音),全稱中華人民共和國澳門特別行政區,是中華人民共和國兩個特別行政區之一。它由四個部份組成:與中國大陸連接的澳門半島,以及位於珠江口南中國海上的氹仔、路環和路氹城。北面和廣東省的珠海市拱北連接;西面與同屬珠海市的灣仔和橫琴對望。

Desde 20 de Dezembro de 1999, Macau é uma Região Administrativa Especial da República Popular da China. Antes da data mencionada, foi administrada por Portugal durante mais de 400 anos. É constituída por uma península e duas ilhas (Taipa e Coloane, entretanto ligadas por terra seca, o istmo de Cotai), numa superfície total de 28,6 km². Tem mais de 531 000 habitantes e actua sob o princípio do Governo Central Chinês de "um país, dois sistemas".

Administered by Portugal until 1999, it was the oldest European colony in China, dating back to the 16th century. The administrative power over Macao was transferred to the People's Republic of China in 1999, and together with Hong Kong, it is now one of two special administrative regions of the People's Republic of China.
