Lugansk and Dnetsk

Hi. I was looking over a number of your recently uploaded videos and noticed that a very large number of them do not have license tags on them. As the templates on the page do not appear to have fully tanscluded I imagine this is an accidental oversight but I wanted to let you know without mass-tagging them so you can add a license tag/correct the license tags. 1942-1929 Soviet films

Hey. I notice a lot of these are your uploads. After much reading, to puzzle out the reasoning behind point 5 of {{PD-Russia}}, I'm changing any of these (that are not) to {{PD-Russia-1996}}... they would have obtained an initial 10 year term, and then been too old to get the new '50 year' term in 1993. Thus, they would have been in the PD in Russia on the URAA date, and been ineligible. I 'suspect' that 1943-1945 works should also have the same tag, as the new 50 year term would have expired on the URAA date, but I'm not sure. - Revent^talk 05:38, 4 April 2017 (UTC)

Названия категорий российских/советских наград

Здравствуйте, Butko. Хотел узнать ваше мнение по поводу названий категорий советских/российских наград.

Я заметил, что названия вышеназванных категорий не имеют какого-либо единого образца. Они то с кавычками-ёлочками (см. Category:Medal «50th Anniversary of the Soviet Militia»), то с кавычками-лапками (см. Category:Medal „Partisan of the Patriotic War”) то c универсальными кавычками (см.: Category:Medal "For the Return of Crimea"), то без кавычек (cм. Category:Medal For the Defence of Leningrad).

В английской Википедии используются универсальные кавычки (" "). Исходя из этого, не лучше бы было привести все названия к единообразию, согласно названиям в английской Википедии? Например:

• Category:Medal «50th Anniversary of the Soviet Militia» → Category:Jubilee Medal "50 Years of the Soviet Militia" (согласно ru:Юбилейная медаль «50 лет советской милиции» / en:Jubilee Medal "50 Years of the Soviet Militia")
• Category:Medal „Partisan of the Patriotic War” → Category:Medal "To a Partisan of the Patriotic War"
• Category:Medal For the Defence of Leningrad → Category:Medal "For the Defence of Leningrad"

Я не знаю. Если бы мы знали фотографа, то можно было бы загрузить, если прошло больше 70 лет с даты его смерти. Ещё нужно изучить Перуанское законодательство, там может оказаться срок охраны меньше или есть какие-то статьи, насчёт анонимных работ (если фотограф неизвестен). Учитывая, что я полностью исправил, действительно, в самом начале неверно установленную мною лицензию на правильную, привел доказательства подтверждающие мою теперишнию правоту, а также тот факт что номинатор на удаление Commons:Deletion requests/File:Sergey Vasil'yevich Panov - metsenat Vinodel'cheskoy stantsii.jpg прекратил (по своему собственному признанию на своей странице участника Википедии коммон) активное участие в проекте Википедия коммон и, наконец, давно прошедшие 7 дней обсуждения и отсутствие желания других участников высказатся по данному вопросу...

I suppose that this user account may be connected with sculptor Maria Tikhonova and the best way is request user to confirm identity. Howewer, on these maps I see other authors in attribution (bottom-right corner). In File:Генплан Вифанская.jpg and File:Покраска главного фасада.jpg authors are different. Обращаюсь за советом: в течении ближайших дней Викимедиа РУ планирует запуск конкурса по загрузке на Викисклад библиотеками России отсканированных книг из своих фондов (см. wmru:Открытая библиотека/Конкурсы/Открытая библиотека. Мы хотели бы убедиться что планируемая загрузка соответствует правилам и практике загрузок PDF файлов на Викисклад. Например, не будет ли проблемой если библиотеки среди прочего будут загружать произведения художественной и беллетристической направленности? Я думаю, что проблем с беллетристикой, если речь идёт о старых изданиях, не должно возникнуть - на Викискладе такие книги есть. На мой взгляд основная проблема, которая может возникнуть - это правильное определение правового статуса книги и постановка соответствующего шаблона. Добрый день! Насколько я понимаю панарамио-бот загрузил более 38 тысяч фото Дмитрия Cкляренко, однако в соответствующей категории всего 7 тысяч файлов, что не совсем удобно (некоторые плохие фото туда не входят). У него есть интересные фото по Крыму, однако найти их среди кучи некачественных фотографий очень сложно. Я выносил некоторые на удаление и их удалили. Так вот, для дальнейшей работы, возможно ли все фото загруженные с его ID 2875355 перенести в нужную категорию? Заранее спасибо. — Mitte27 (talk) 04:19, 20 December 2017 (UTC)

Странно, я просто написал "Дмитрий Ванькевич" в поиске викисклада, получилось 3 тысячи файлов. Например эти файлы не входят в категорию[1][2]. Энсел Адамс

Добрый день!
Пару лет назад я обновил и слегка откорректировал вот это фото Энсела Адамса. На днях это фото признали избранным. А вчера коллега Janke откорректировал его ещё раз. Не спорю, на первый взгляд новая версия выглядит лучше, особенно светлые и средние тона, но вот там где тёмные участки граничат с более светлыми (ельник в правом верхнем углу, например) получились слишком контрастные, словно вырубленные топором, переходы яркости. Я сначала хотел откатить к предыдущей версии, но потом решил сначала посоветоваться с опытным фотографом , то есть с Вами. Может я чего-то не понимаю и теперешняя версия действительно лучше? Развейте, пожалуйста, мои сомнения, если не трудно. --Kaidor (talk) 04:58, 2 March 2018 (UTC)

На мой взгляд новая версия лучше (правда, нужно учесть освещение при котором я сейчас пишу - у меня яркое окно за спиной, возможно, в тёмной комнате я буду воспринимать по-другому). Главное в портрете - лицо человека и в новой версии переходы от света к тени на лице более мягкие, а сами тени лучше проработаны. А то, что по углам уже не столь важно и будет замечено лишь немногими при внимательном рассматривании. В принципе, неудачные участки можно подретушировать отдельно на основе исходного изображения, чтобы они лучше смотрелись. --Butko (talk) 06:18, 2 March 2018 (UTC)

Удаление категорий награжденных советскими/российскими юбилейными медалями

Здравствуйте, Butko. Тут одна англоговорящая участница хочет поудалять все категории для награжденных советскими/российскими юбилейными наградами в честь Победы в Великой Отечественной войне, и еще в придачу эта же участница выставила на удаление категории награжденных советскими юбилейными наградами в честь создания вооруженных сил СССР.

Причина: категории для награжденных медалями юбилейными "не значимы", дескать, все она может "высчитать по дате смерти". И это при том, что каждая юбилейная медаль имеет статью в русской и английской ВП, а сами категорий на Викискладе имеют аналогичные категории в русской/украинской/казахстанской ВП (Wikidata:Q7201719, Wikidata:Q9644092, Wikidata:Q20241104).

Это может быть довольно опасный прецедент, если ей удастся удалить категории награжденных, которые имеют интервики, а сами награды имеют соответствующие статьи в ВП. Поскольку я помню, что Вы создавали категории награжденных наградами ДНР, я думаю, что эта тема может вас заинтересовать. Боюсь, что с таким подходом англоговорящие "доброходы" могут поудалять на Викискладе все категории награжденных (СССР/СНГ), если те не имеют аналогичных категорий в английской ВП.--Russian Rocky (talk) 23:19, 30 May 2018 (UTC)

@Russian Rocky: forgot to mention that I, the English-speaking Wikipedian in question, have written over 50 Hero of the Soviet Union biographies and counting, am learning Russian, yet wrongly implied I have no knowledge of this subject. We do not have recipient categories for other jubilee medals like "10 years of Astana", "70 years of liberation of Ukraine from facist invaders", "60 Years Of Liberation Of The Belarusian Republic From German-Fascist Invaders"; if they did have recipient categories those would be nominated too. But most of all, the medal names are tedious to add when creating categories for Great Patriotic War veterans. The requirements to be awarded one of those medals is clear in their statutues, ranging from being in the military on a certain date, being a living Hero of the Soviet Union on a certain date, having fought in the Great Patriotic War and lived to a certain victory day anniversary, etc. It's not that hard to figure out what jubilee medals someone got based on their service history, lifespan, and other information, etc. The reason I made the nomination is because over 12,000 people received the title Hero of the Soviet Union, but only 1,781 have categories on Commons. Adding several wordy jubilee medal categories to a person's category is a waste of time since it is something that can be implied from biography information. Jubilee medals are not like other awards awarded for a specific act of bravery in battle, prolonged service in the military, etc. It's literally just commemorative, nothing more or less. Jubilee medals do not hold high status on ribbon bar placement. Yes, the jubilee medal categories have 5 interwiki links on Wikidata - that's not much, especially compared to other award categories like Category:Recipients of the Order of the Red Star, which has far more links. And this isn't about English wiki category policy. I personally think English Wikipedia category policy is silly, the won't let us have categories for recipients of important medals like the Order of the Red Star and the Order of the October Revolution. This deletion nomination is because it is frankly VERY tedious to add jubilee medal categories, not to mention the fact that most people (not all) tend to just ignore them on Commons, by creating biography categories but not adding the jubilee medal categories. And I certainly don't want to create a precedent of maintaining the English Wiki category policy on Commons. Like I said, English Wiki is very silly but it appears that only a few wikis (about five) bother with jubilee medal categories compared to dozens that rightly maintain categories for recipients of higher medals such as the Order of the Red Star or the Medal for Battle Merit.--PlanespotterA320 (talk) 23:58, 31 May 2018 (UTC)

Planespotter, I don't discuss you here (no offence), but the nomination. Unfortunately, your contribution in the English Wikipedia doesn't make you more experienced in a totally different project. Since it's not the nomination page, I don't want to bother Russian-speaking people with English. Use Translate Google, please.

Ваши аргументы можно свести к нескольким пунктам.

1. Названия русских памятных/юбилейных наград длинные и неудобные, поэтому категории награжденных этими наградами должны быть удалены. А вот если букв мало (как в случае категории для кавалеров орденов Октябрьской Революции, которые тоже подпадают под Ваше же предложение удалить все категории награжденных памятными/юбилейными наградами), то Вы уже говорите, что такие категории значимые и удобные, и их нужно оставить. Налицо какая-то непоследовательность у Вас. Если Вы ссылаетесь на то, что Вам неудобно набирать длинные английские названия русских категорий, то поработайте, например, с польскими категориями. Викисклад, к сожалению, удобен не для всех.

2. Категории "перекликаются" друг с другом, т.е. наличие более новой памятной/юбилейной награды подразумевает наличие более старых наград. Так то же самое происходит с категориями награжденных по степеням: награждение 1-й степенью обычно подразумевают наличие наград II-й, III-й степени. Предлагаете отказаться от категоризации по степеням, и сваливать все категории в одну кучу? К тому же, как я уже сказал в том обсуждении, есть куча ньюансов, вроде расширения для последних юбилейных медалей в честь Победы списка лиц, подпадающих под награждение (несовершеннолетние узники концлагерей, гетто и т.д.).

3. Большое количество награжденных. Ничего, что у нас на Викискладе есть категории для членов КПСС и КПК? Там десятки миллионов, если не сотни миллионов членов (КПК). Однако никто не собирается создавать на Викисладе категории для каждой отдельной такой персоналии. Посмотрите категорию Награждённые медалью «50 лет Победы в Великой Отечественной войне 1941—1945 гг.», там нет никаких миллионов категорий. Тем более, что такой критерий малоприменим к действительно незначимым наградам (без статей в ВП), вот там действительно награжденных бывает с гулькин нос. Еще Вы говорите, что не видите смысла в навигации, так почему же в 5 разных ВП видят смысл? У нас нет для советских ветеранов каких-то специальных категорий, поэтому навигация по медалям тут к месту.

Оптимальным тут может быть только детальное обсуждение со всеми участниками, участвующими в создании категорий награжденных. На мой взгляд, наличия статьи в ВП, а тем более аналогичных категорий, уже достаточно для создания категорий награжденных на Викискладе. Что же касается Вашего аргумента, что "никто" не будет их добавлять вручную, то мы можем всегда попросить ботоводов. Order of the October Revolution medal

Hi. Because the photograph of the Order of the October Revolution medal was deleted do you think you could take a photo of one and upload it to Commons? It doesn't have to be perfect, just a photo for the infobox since the only images now are low-resolution partials from postage stamps and a not-quite-high-quality simple illustration. Здравствуйте, Андрей. Я создал шаблон {{duma.gov.ru}}, он автоматически добавляет лицензию CC BY 4.0 и категорию Category:Files from duma.gov.ru. Вы можете использовать его, чтобы каждый раз не добавлять категорию сайта вручную.

Кстати, если вы загружаете фото с сайта http://duma.gov.ru/, обратите внимание на раздел сайта "Фото и видео". Здесь публикуются фото в гораздо лучшем разрешении, чем в новостных статьях сайта. К тому же, здесь можно получить фото в максимально возможном расширении. Для этого зайдите в одну из фотогалерей (Например: http://duma.gov.ru/multimedia/photo/ → http://duma.gov.ru/multimedia/photo/25167/), потом откройте код страницы (для Google Chrome это — правый клик, затем выбрать "Просмотр кода страницы" (или Ctrl+U)). Так Вы сможете получить URL на фото в максимально возможном расширении.

• К примеру, вот первое же фото (по правому клику) в вышеприведенной фотогалерее: http://duma.gov.ru/media/photos/1254x705/yizZjRsXtuqx507Lny9rx2B3iziKvXNj.JPG (1,254 × 705)

Вітаємо!

1 вересня вже традиційно стартувала українська частина міжнародного фотоконкурсу «Вікі любить пам'ятки»! До 30 вересня включно Ви можете подавати власні фото пам'яток історико-культурної спадщини України — і змагатися за призи. Цього року є трохи змін у правилах конкурсу:

• фотографії пам'яток, для яких на момент початку конкурсу (відповідно до відомої Організаційному комітету інформації) не було жодної ілюстрації на Вікісховищі або у Вікіпедії, отримують коефіцієнт рівний 7 (для кожної пам'ятки);
• фотографії автоматично вантажаться у категорію, яка бере учать у номінації за найбільшу кількість сфотографованих об'єктів, для того, щоб фото позмагалося у номінації за найкраще фото потрібно вибрати необхідні налаштування у завантажувачі.

Також у конкурсі є спецномінація банерів для статей у Вікімандрах, детальніше за посиланням.

Когда он выставил на переименование мой герб Ташкента и указал причину №4 (To harmonize the names of a set of images so that only one part of all names differs), я спросил его в каких таких наборах изображений его имя выбивается общего ряда. Он не ответил, и как потом я понял, просмотрев его СО, он вообще не отвечает на вопросы. Никому и никогда. Про некоего Канта из Калининграда и вообще об уважении к истории

Уважаемый коллега ! В Ваших акциях, как администратора, я вижу проявление правил Викимедии, которые ставят меня в тупик. В самом деле, я глубоко уверен, что Эммануил Кант жил и был похоронен в Кёнигсберге, а не в Калининграде, Пётр Великий создал Санкт-Петербург, а не Петроград и, тем более, не Ленинград и.т.д. И с этим очень многие согласны.

Иными словами, я считаю не только естественным, но единственно правильным использовать при категоризации то название местности и т.д., которое было принято во время существования описываемого объекта или события . И примером пагубности этой анти-исторической практики стало недавно окончившееся перенесение описываемых мною событий, происшедших в неофициальной столице Урала - Свердловске в мало кому известное местечко.

Астрономическая обсерватория Уральского университета НИКОГДА не находилась и не находится в городе, под названием Yekaterinburg !! Внесение её в категорию с этим названием есть дезинформация чистой воды. Её настоящий адрес -посёлок Коуровка на реке Чусовой.А при Геннине с Татищевым её вообще не было.

Не надо дополнительно вносить путаницу и хаос в историю, которая и без нас весьма запутана.

Да, кстати : Маннергейм был против переименования Петрозаводска в Янислинну....

Привіт!

Наш цьогорічний конкурс добігає свого кінця — залишилося ще 4 дні. Проміжні підсумки конкурсу опубліковано на сайті. У нас зараз понад 13500 світлин, і це значить, що Україна посідає четверте місце, поступаючись Росії (23 тисячі), Німеччині (21 тисяча) та Італії (19 тисяч). Загалом, понад 200 учасників цього року уже. Дякуємо, що вантажили фото у попередні роки, якщо б Вам захотілося ще взяти участь цього року, то може бути корисно переглянути цей пост із покроковою інструкцією як вантажити світлини: «Як подати свою роботу на конкурс». Волхвы и родноверие

Коллега, прошу Вашей помощи в категоризации Category:Volkhvs. Мне представляется, что волхвов древней Руси и современных неоязыческих «волхвов» следует чётко относить: одних к древнему язычеству, а других (см. фотографии) к современному неоязычеству. Hi Butko. I saw that you uploaded some of the pictures (I don´t know if all) in this category. How did you transfer them from Flickr, automatically or manually?
